Why is he doing this?
Why is he being so nice?
Meera pulled the door to the taxi and slid into the seat without a second glance at the way Vedant watched her leave.
He looked hurt.
But why?
Even a month ago he'd walk past her and not even spare her a glance. And now he was smiling at her, offering to drop her to places and even behaving this...this flustered around her. It was almost as if he liked her.
She laughed sarcastically in her head.
Vedant Shah and liking me?
Stupid.
He probably just wants to be friends and I'm probably just over thinking.
But she knew she wasn't over thinking. Maybe girls were born with this inbuilt ability to be able to sense when somebody was into them. And from the way Vedant was behaving around her, she could tell he was into her big time.
I like him too. I mean, I like his face. And his voice. And the way he looks at me.
MEERA STOP.
You don't know him as a person!
But why does he like me? And why so suddenly?
What could've been so major about the bag swap that he was suddenly treating her so differently?
