chapter 5... memories and nightmares

*NIKKIS (nicolettes) POV*

I woke up really scared but miserable, I kept waking up so many times because i kept having dreams of my brother. I also kept having dreams of my ex boyfriend Jerry, I had so many dreams lately that me and jerry were gonna get back together. I felt Hayes breathing right next to me. Hes too cute, I litteraly didnt think thay he would stay with me. hes so amazing! I saw Hayes's eyes slowly opening so I just kissed him on the cheek. I hope he will ask me out someday, im done with Jerry

"Good morning Hayes!" I said excitedly

"Aww! good morning NIcolette, How did you sleep last night?" Hayes said

"Ehh, not that good, I kept waking up in the middle of the night because of nightmares" I said sadly

"Awwww, its okay,ill will always be here to protect you" hayes said so cutely

"awww Hayes! your so cute!" I said

I got up and brushed my teeth. Hayes was still on my bed. i hopped into the shower and got dressed. I made me and Hayes breakfast. we sat on the couch and cuddled.

"Hey Nikki?" Hayes said curiously

"Yeah Hayes?"

"Even though were not dating. I love you, I know you lost your brother. you will make it through everything. Stay Strong and think Positive. I love you, I dont wanna see you upset"

Litteraly, that sentence took my breath away. No ones ever said that to me. I went through a whole stage of depression. deep depression when my brother passed. No one really knows but ive cut before. i have cuts on my wrists and some on my legs. most of it was because of Jerry my ex boyfriend. Mann, its like he knows. that i went through depression... wow... Im in tears... I cant believe it, so I sat up and my eyes were watery.

"wow. that was amazing" i said

"Aww thank you Nikki"

"okay. so... No one really knows this. but... I went through a deep depression. I used to cut myself"

I showed him my scars, he looked so suprised. he started to tear up and told me to never do this again.

"Nikki dont... please"

"Hayes, Im sorry, i wont do it again"

"okay good, because I need you here Nikki, I love you"

"awww Hayes.."

*HAYES POV*

wow.. I cant belive it. I didnt think she really actually went through depression. I feel terrible.

"Its okay. you will make it through" I said passionately

"aww thank you Hayes" i said

Hayes gave me a really big kiss on the cheek, so I gave him a kiss on the cheek in return. its 9:30 right now. so me and hayes just got up from the couch and we decided to exercise for about an hour. then we played my brothers xbox in his room...i remeber Steven loved his xbox, he used to make me play call of duty with him... I miss that...

we playes Stevens xbox until around 10:30, then we watched the Notebook. we cuddled through that whole movie. I got popcorn and put a chedder cheese powder on it, just the way we both like it! I love popcorn with cheddar
