It was dark. The only noise that could be heard from the end of the alley were quiet screams muffled by a large hand. Further away people were laughing, drinking and talking. They didn't hear, nor care, about the poor girl that had taken one too many steps into the dark. Her clothes were ripped and her hair was harshly pulled back, making her eyes water. The steady thuds and the man's heavy breathing made her panic rise with each slap of his body against hers. No matter how hard she cried or screamed, no one would come to her rescue. She had long since given up, and now only waited for him to be done with it. She wanted his release so that she could find hers.

She opened her eyes as his pace quickened, frantically looking toward the street to find someone, anyone, that could help. She knew no one would, but looking was the only comfort she could get whilst her body was being used and her mind abused. From there, it all happened fast.

A pair of glowing eyes. A soft growl. Him stopping. Him screaming. Him dying.

A wolf in the dark.
