5 - Earthquake

(Y/N)'s POV

"The view really is amazing!" I exclaim, watching the flying-type Pokemon roam feeely in the air.

"It really is!" I heard Bonnie say behind me.

"It's so pretty!" Serena adds.

"Let's go to the other side of the bridge!" I suggest. Instantly, all five of us ran to the other side where we found a cliff and another amazing view.

"Wow..." I trail off, staring at the majestic mountains standing before us.

"It's amazing..." Bonnie quietly say, trying to find the right words to describe it.

"Do you guys wanna have a picnic here?" Serena suddenly asks.

We all nodded to each other. "That's a great idea!" Ash replies.

The honey-blonde haired girl started to walk back towards the bridge we just crossed, saying, "I'll go get the picnic basket I brought,"

"You brought a picnic basket with you all the way here?" I ask, turning to look at her.

"Yep!" She smiled and nodded. "Well, I'll be back!"

She ran and disappered into view as she crossed the bridge again, and suddenly, Clemont was running there, too. "I'll come too!" he shouts.

"Okay!" Serena calls.

I smile, before I look to my left where I saw Bonnie looking at me with a mischevious look on her face. I frowned. What was she doing?

Before I could ask why, however, she quickly said, "I'll come with you, too!" she announces, before sprinting towards the two.

I start to blush, now understanding why she came, too. I stood still, slowly turning my head to see Ash standing close to the cliff, staring at the view.

It was just Ash and I, in this cliff, together.

Together.

I blush even more. A deafening silence hang in the air, and none of us spoke for what felt like 5 hours that was actually 5 minutes. 

"Um.." I start awkwardly, attempting to break the silence.

"Yeah?" He asks, turning his head to face me.

"The view really is amazing isn't it?" I say without thinking, walking towards the end of the cliff.

"Yeah... hey, be careful." He warns me suddenly, worry tinting his voice.

I just smiled back, "No worries, I'll be fine," 

"Just...be careful."

And then, suddenly the ground started to shake horribly, and the ground below me broke. It all happened within a second I couldn't do anything. It was like I blinked. One second I was talking to Ash, and then one second, I was falling.

Falling and falling into the ground.

My eyes widened in fear, tears falling down my face. I scream, reaching out my hand to just reach him, but I was too far down and he was getting farther and farther as the ground came closer.

"(Y/N)!" Ash shouts, trying desperately to grab my hand, but he couldn't.

Closing my eyes, I let the tears fall down quickly, waiting for the impact. I couldn't think straight. I was gonna die, I was gonne die, I was gonne die-

Never in my life have I been this scared.

Bonnie's POV

The ground below us started to shake, I lost balance and fell, making me drop the bag that I was carrying.

A few minutes right after we went to cabin to get the basket, suddenly, an earthquake occurred, and everyone was screaming.

"Bonnie, are you all right?" Clemont asks, holding the door for support.

"Yeah," I tell him, trying to get back up.

"Everyone, get out of the cabin, now!" I heard the teacher say.

We all went outside, breathing heavily. I looked around and saw some students crying, while some were pale and was looking into no where. I was shaking, and I turn my head to see Serena and Clemont beside me, looking as scared as I was.

And then, my eyes widen, a horrible thought suddenly dancing in my head. I look around again, seeing teachers ask if everyone was all right.

Turning to my friends, I shout, "Guys! Ash and (Y/N) are both still at the cliff!"
