Beautiful

She is beautiful.
Not the slap you on the cheek,
Punch you in the gut,
Knock you to the floor beautiful.

She is softspoken,
Caress your hand,
Demure, kind, beautiful.

Like the quiet whisper of aspen leaves,
In the freezing wind,
The gentle stream,
Trickling over sharp rocks,
Smoothing them to pebbles.
A tiny sprout,
Forcing it's way
out of the frozen ground,
The soft patter, and petrichor,
Brought by light drizzles,

She is the one ray
of glowing sunlight,
Piercing the stormy sky.

She is beautiful,
But it's the kind of beauty,
One only notices,
When one loves, and appreciates her.
