5 to 3. It's the same hours every weekday. Every day I've got to deal with grumpy customers, dirty tables and overflowing bins. When I first started I loved the job, but now it's getting exhausting. There's no joy in it anymore. But every day when I wake up before the world does I keep in mind, just one more year. Just one more year until I have saved up enough money and can finish work at this café to learn my dream job!

Beep beep beep beep

My alarm starts beep again signaling I've got only 40 minutes left to get ready. I fling off my blanket and grab my uniform. I stumble into the bathroom and put my hair into a bun and do my makeup.

I grab my handbag and do a mental check to make sure I've got everything before jumping into the car. I decide to bring up my spirits a bit by blasting the raido. That's one good thing about waking up early, I can sing my heart out and really off key, and no one will care or get injured by my singing!

As I drive pass the café I see people already filling the shop, I guess that's what happens when you work at one of the most popular cafés in Beacon Hills. I park my car and rush in, preparing myself for a long busy day.

~

Around lunch time, when I highly considered stabbing myself with a fork, a new pack of people just come flooding through the doors, hungry and ready to order.

I grab my pen and notebook, making my way over to the tables, taking orders and bringing them back to the cooks. Most people are usually to tired, busy or just couldn't be bothered to be rude. But there's always that one person. When he, or she, orders a coffee, but not just any coffee a specific coffee. You know those one that go like, "Can I have a mochaccino with full cream milk, half strength, dash of vanilla with coco syrup, but NOT too much. Extra hot, extra cream and froth, but not so much that there's no coffee in the cup..." And so on and so fourth.

I deliver the order to the café and walk back out to get more orders. I walk up to this guy that was sitting by himself thinking, this order shouldn't be to complex right? It's just one guy.

"Hi, what may I get for you today?" I ask in my monotone, but still pleasant enough to not seem rude.

He looks up from the menu and looks right on my eyes, giving me a charming smile. It literally feels like I've been stabbed in the heart by Cupid's arrows multiple times. How can he look so darn cute!?

"Hi! Uh, I'll have the... Ham Cheese Toastie. And could I have a standard Caappuccino, full cream?" He asked still smiling.

"Of course, it'll be coming right up." I say walking away.

"Oh wait. Could I also have a extra napkin?"

"Uhhh sure!" I say quickly so I don't embarrass myself, I, myself can't actually believe how awkward I can be...

Anyway, I weave my way in-between the tables and dodge people to give his order to the kitchen. When the food was served I tucked a few extra napkins on the tray before walking over to him. I placed the tray on his table smiling at him.

"Thanks y/n," I must've gave him a weird look because he knew my name, "Oh the name badge." He explains pointing to my clipped on badge.

"Did you bring a extra napkin?" He asks.

"Yea it's next to your plate. Have a nice day." I say about to walk off.

He stands up and grabs my hand, "Wait I wanted to give something to you." He said dragging me back to his spot.

He picks up the napkin and pulls out a pen from his pocket and starts scribbling something down. I try to peek what he's writing but I find myself just looking at him, his hands, his face, his shoulders,-

He looks up and hands over the napkin with writing all over it, "Here. Read it." He said nervously.

I gaze down at his handwriting starting from the top.

'y/n every single morning when I walk past I have seen you working here. Since the first time I laid eyes on you I've wanted to speak to you, but I've been way to nervous to even approach you.
But if I don't do anything I know a different guy will get you (because all beautiful people will always have others interested in them). So Y/N will you give me a chance?
-Aiden

I look up at Aiden failing to hide my smile. "Of course Aiden."

He shot his head up wrapping his arms around me, "What time do you finish work?"

"One more hour."

"You're worth the wait."
