Draco X Reader

The First Task

It was a few weeks before our fist task, Harry, Neville and I were down at the river, I was reading about herbolodgy as Neville was teaching me about some plants when Ron, Ginny and Hermione walk up to us,

'Ron told me, That Seamus told him, That Dean was told by Pavati, Hagrid's looking for you.'

'What?' he says as Hermione walks back over to Ron.

'Hagrid's Looking for you' She says

'Well you can tell Ron-'

'Im Not An Owl!!' she yells, Harry walks back over to us. I Continue to learn about all these plants and what they do, Neville was smarter then I thought.

Lately I have been friends with a fellow Slytherin Quidditch player, he was a year or 2 older and his name was Graham Motague. He was really nice and super cute. we Became friends and he helped me learn some tricks of self defence. he taught me some fighting mechanisms and lots more, he believed me when I said I didn't put my name in the goblet of fire and I was so happy hanging around him, I sat with him a lot at Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.

Harry runs up to me,

'Dragons are the first task, They have one for each of us!' he tells me I freak out. 'Can you come with me to tell Cedric!?' he asks politely

'Yeah, I have nothing else to do!' As we walk over to Cedric everyones yelling at Harry,

'Potter Stinks!!!' I feel really bad and I take out my wand, we walk into the garden as Harry asks to talk to Cedric, I see Malfoy in a tree eyeing me down, he notices that I see him and looks away. As harry comes back I talk to the Hufflepuffs, one of them told me that they aren't hating on me because I'm the Dark Lords daughter so I walk over to harry who has just ended a conversation with Ron, we walk off but on our way past a group of Slytherins Draco jumps out of the tree,

'You know Potter, Me and my father have a bet you see, I don't think you'll last 10 minutes he disagrees he doesn't think you'll last 5' He says in his obnoxious bratty tone.

'Shut up Malfoy' I say looking downwards.

'Oh The blood-traitors standing up for her future husband' he says, i feel tears coming up, I force them back.

'Be quiet Malfoy, We don't care about your father or those names.' Harry Yells at him. As he begins to turn around, I see Draco lift his wand he's about to Hex Harry, I see him disappear next thing I know MrMoody has turned him into a ferret. I look down, I first look worried then I begin to smile, The boy who broke my heart, had finally learnt his lesson. I walked away when I saw McGonagal walking over, I go to the library and find Hermione, she's reading about hogwarts history, I on the other hand get a book about, Arithmancy.

It was The morning of the first task I woke up EXTRA early at 4am went for a quick jog and came back to get ready, I had a nice cold shower, and got into a cute green track outfit that Dumbledore agreed on letting me wear.

I walk into the tent after Cedric, he seemed nervous. Harry was the last to enter. I see Hermione jump out of nowhere and hug him, and thats where Rita came back she began to talk more but I didn't listen to a word she said. Dumbledore soon entered the room with the Barty Crouch. Each student put there hands into the bag pulling out a dragon, I was my turn, I reach in and pull out a Draconic Hybrid. Everyone except me and harry had gone, they call on me, I hug harry, he tells me good luck, the cannon goes, I grab my wand from my pants and walk to the entrance, I look at the egg, then to the dragon, I run straight towards the golden egg, The dragon comes out of nowhere, I stop running, I think to myself Its kind of cute,

'IMMOBULUS!' I scream and the dragon freezes in its spot, it falls over and I run over to it, it begins to unfreeze but is unable to move its left foot,

'Episky!' I say healing its foot, I run up to the egg and grab it, successfully finishing that challenge. A memory goes threw my head then, the last time I used that spell, it was on Draco, the scene goes on in my head a million times, I walk off and back into the tent I hug harry as he goes on and I run back to the common room my eyes all teary. I get changed into a cute black dress with my chunky shoes. 

I sit alone in the common room, everyone still watching harry, I open the golden egg, all I hear is a loud scream I can't seem to shut it so I run upstairs and try to drown the sound when I hear a lovely noise coming out of it. I close the egg. I fill up the bath tub I open the egg and stick my head in with it.

'Come Seek us where our voices Sound,

We cannot Sing above the ground,

And while you're searching Ponder this,

We've taken something you'll sorely miss,

An Hour you'll have to look,

and to recover what we have took,

But Past an hour the prospects black,

Too late, its gone, and won't come back'

It sings as I come back up for air seeing people staring at me from behind,

'What are you doing?' Daphne says while The goons stand behind her.

'Is there Mer people in the Black lake?' I ask making her face go all confused.

'Yeah, I saw one go past that window the other day!' She says with a wonky smile.

'OMG Thanks' I say grabbing my egg out of the tub, pulling out the plug and running out of the common room and run to where Cedric usually is,

'Cedric Cedric Cedric!!!' I scream tripping as a yellow shirted hunk catches me

'Be careful 'y/n' now what Is it' He says lifting me to my feet.

'Listen to the Egg underwater!! You'll understand when you hear it' I say running off. A shadow forms over me, I look up and its a horn tailed dragon, my eyes widen, I see Harry on his broom riding away.

The griffindores and Slytherins had been called into the great hall for a talk, They talked to us about the Yule ball, the boys where on one side of the room and the girls on the other. I was sitting down talking to Daphne when McGonagal starts dancing with Ron, I begin to giggle uncontrollably, so does Daphne and most of the Slytherin girls, leading to the Boys laughing. Daphne nudges me while I'm looking at Ron dance with The grey haired professor,

'A certain Blonde haired ex boyfriend is staring you' Daphne says to me, I don't bother to look.

'ok..' I murmur. The professor tells us to dance with the boys, first most of the griffindore girls stand up and then a few Griffindore boys walk over and ask them to dance. Daphne pulls me up. Graham walks over to me, he bows and says,

'[y/n] may I have this dance' he pulls out his hand and kisses mine.

'You may!' I say as we go and dance gracefully.
