Chapter 3

I woke up and check the time.

9:30

I was glad that I didn't over sleep again.

I checked the date and realized today was the day that I go look for an apartment because I recently graduated high school.

I am starting college in the spring of next year.

I am going to major in nursing because that's always been a dream of mine.

Anyways, I picked out what I wanted to wear and went to the bathroom.

I had stopped in front of the mirror and saw nothing but pure ugly in front of me.

All I saw was bruises and marks all over me, my lip was busted and I had a red marks on my neck.

I just stood there and cried at the sight of my face being this ugly.

This is the reason why I want to move out and start over.

I know I'm covered because I've been working hard at the jobs I've recently worked at and at my job I'm at currently. I work at footlocker and I have been saving up from the moment I could start working.

I have to buy a car and an apartment. Maybe a condo we will see.

I turned on the water and stripped out of my clothes and washed up for 30 minutes.

30 minutes later..

I stepped out the shower and dried off and lotioned down.

I got dressed, then I did my make up. I had to blend well so that my bruises wasn't noticeable.

I was looking kinda cute so I decided to take a picture.

Then I posted and felt my phone vibrate as my notifications came in.

When I was finally done, I sprayed myself with some VS and put my shoes on.

I opened my door quietly and checked to see if Joseph was still here.

I didn't hear anything so I hurried down the stairs.

Then I hear a voice that I am starting to hate.

My mother

"Where do you think yo fast ass going now ?" Patrice asked

" To mind my business, something you should try"
