Chapter 1: Movie Marathon

Hey sorry I haven't uploaded this book yet I wanted to take a break and think of the plot and everything :) It's going to be a good book is all that I promise. I know that I left you hanging but trust me, it'll be a really good book.

Chapter 1:

I opened my eyes and looked around. We were all sleeping on sleeping bags in the living room. Justin was on my left and Nick on my right. When we were running that night a week ago, we met up with Hope, Erin, and Shane.

Now, we were stuck in this house in the middle of uknown woods with hot and cold water and a fully stocked kitchen with 7 bedrooms and 12 beds (don't ask why we' aren't sleeping on the beds, Bo made us sleep like this so that we would be "safer") but the worst part was that they still didn't tell me what was going on.

I looked up at the clock: 3:47 it read. I got up quietly and tiptoed into the bathroom. I turned on the showere and eagerly jumped in. I enjoyed the cold water silking down my back making me feel awake and refreshed.

I had taken cold showers ever since I could remember. I couldn't stand hot water. It made me feel dirty and uncomfortable.

When I had decided to get out I changed into a fresh pair of pajamas and went beack into the living room. They were all still fast asleep. I giggled at how cute they all looked sleeping. Their faces flawless from worry and stress.

I tiptoed over them careful not to step on them and cuddled back into my sleeping bag only to be abducted by the darkness moments later.

IN THE MORNING:

I woke up and looked around. Hope and Justin and Nick were all still asleep. I walked into the kitchen to see Erin and Shane making breakfast and Bo drinking his coffee and reading a newspaper. I heard someone coming towards us and turned around. I almost fell if Drake wouldn't have caught me.

I was speechless for words until he said,"Good morning Alex." "Morning." I said back smiling. I turned around just to see Bo's face tense up and his coffee mug break from the grip he had on it. "I'll clean it up," Erin said.

When breakfast was finally ready, Nick had woken up. Still in a tired daze, and sat down. I sat down next to him. He was a really good friend. I was glad I met him. I would have been stuck making a horrible decision if it wasn't for him.

Shane set plates down in front of us. It was funny how everyone had different foods. No wonder it took 3 people to cook. I had pancakes and sausage while everyone else had either toast, bacon, and eggs or waffles and sausage. After we finished I walked into the living room to see Hope had went to take a shower and Justin was still sound asleep.

I bent down until I was level with his ear and screamed, "WAKKEE UPP!!!!!" He jumped out from under the covers and nearly hit me in the face. "What was that for?!" He said. "Sorry," I replied walking away. Justin was definately one of the funniest people here.

We all gathered in a back room to watch television. We were still a bit squished but at least there were two couches.

On a commercial, we heard scratching at the door. Bo jumped up and ran to get it. When he came back he had a smile on his face and was holding a short letter.

"My brother, Eric, is coming to stay with us. He said it will probably be permanent. He's the same age as me though. But, we're actually step brothers. He's an immortal, like me, though."

We all seemed to be a little cheered up. I sat between Erin and Justin. Justin making fun of the movie the whole time. I didn't blame him though. It was the original Friday the thirteenth. I had seen it a million times and joked along with Justin. Soon we all kind of were. Until Bo kept saying, "SHH! SHH! SHHH!!!"

The day went on and soon we had watched over 5 movies and eaten so much popcorn we probably were going to pop. When it was late we decided to all take turns taking showers in all the different bathrooms and then go to bed. When we were all clean, we jumped into the covers and almost immediately fell asleep. We were once again suctioned into a world of innocence and sweetness. Well, some of us took a much darker path....
