SPOILERS AHEAD
I get it. You wanna keep Robb alive. So you're like, hey I'll make the oc a frey. Or just avoid the Red Wedding all together. I get that. I've done that. And I've learned from my mistakes.
Frankly, stories I've read where Robb lived after the Red Wedding are mostly bad. Why? Because you guys have no idea what to do after that. So then the plot is rocky and just really falls apart.
Some of them do work. They really do. But most fail and are hard to read.
Another thing is that killing Walder Frey in place of Robb is kind of annoying. Like no, Robb woild not kill Walder Frey for telling him he needed to marry one of his daughters. The Freys were once loyal bannermen.
If you're going to go about the Robb lives route, please do not mess up the plot more. Please. At least map it sensible.
But keep in mind, your oc can probably live without a man. Okay that's all gucci. Bye.
