I have done this before in a story but your character does not need to be raped to a) get a point across b) make their love interest fall in love with them because of their strength/fragility
I know that rape was not taboo in times like this but just because someone attempted to rape Sansa does not mean there are rapists waiting for your oc in stables/ dark roads.
There are other things that can happen in your story that can move it along without your oc having to be sexually abused.
While we are on the subject, this is for every fandom. JUST BECAUSE THE WOMAN/ MANS BODY REACTS DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE 'INTO IT'. IF THEYRE BEING RAPED AND BEGGING/SCREAMING/ TELLING YOU TO STOP, I AM 100% SURE THAT IS A SOLID NO. SO EVEN IF THERI BODY REACTS, OR IF THEY MOAN, IT DOES NOT MEAN THEY WANT IT.
ANOTHER THING, RAPE LOVE STORIES ARE GROSS. IF YOU EVER WRITE A BOOK ABOUT SOMEONE GETTING RAPED AND THEN FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE RAPIST THEN YOU ARE SICK. IF YOU EVER SEE A BOOK ABOUT IT REPORT IT.
