Riley rolled his eyes as Mr. Reir continued to talk away and bore the class.

He yawned and pulled out his ear buds and stuck them into his phone.

"Hey Riley." The voice of a girl spoke.

Riley turned around to the girl that has had a crush on him since middle school.

Selina Griffin.

Selina was always known for getting what she wanted. And she knew when she had it.

She smiled at Riley and waved shyly.

"Hi. I was just wondering if you wanted to be partners with me on this project." She asked, twirling her hair.

"I ain't doing it." He shrugged and turned back around.

"So you're gonna fail for it?" She asked, chuckling.

"Yep." He said putting his earbuds in.

She sighed and leaned into his ear.

"I'm not taking no for an answer. If you do, do it...I'll reward you." She whispered.

Riley heard her and took his ear buds out.

"You mean like money? Cause I'm down with that." Riley smiled.

Riley was unaware of what Selina really meant by rewarding him. Believe it or not, his mind wasn't as bad as hers.

Selina smiled back.

"Yeah. Like money. Anything you want." She said.

Riley shrugged.

"Cool." He said.

"I'm Selina." She introduced herself.

"Cool, I'm young reezy a.k.a-"

"Riley, yes I know." She playfully rolled her eyes.

Riley looked at her a little.

"Oh you the one that wrote me that note on the first day huh?" He smirked.

She laughed.

"Yes. That's me."

"Mmm." He nodded.

Huey finished his assignment first and turned it into the teacher.

"Done already Huey?" Ms. Malaki asked. He nodded and went to sit in his seat.

As he did so, he lifted his hand to grab a book from his back pack and Weston flinched.

This poor little boy.

Huey didn't notice but everyone else did as they snickered and giggled.

Jazmine turned around and looked at Huey.

"Hey Huey, you wanna go to the movies after school?" She asked with an embracing smile on her face.

"Nah." He answered and he opened his book and took out his bookmark.

"You wanna go to the park?" She attempted yet again.

"Nah."

"You wanna go...to the tree?"

This made Huey actually look at her and think. They used to always go to the tree as kids. Well it started as Huey's tree until Jazmine decided to tag along with him.
