Proof Enough? XXXXXXIV

I walked through the dense trees, looking at different markers that lead to a waterfall deeper into the forest. It was Bellamy’s and my meeting place for when we wanted to be alone, seeing in camp we had to keep up our facade that we barely knew each other, when in reality, we had been dating for almost a year. I heard crunching leaves from behind me, and quickly turned with my fists up only to see Bellamy grinning back at me.

“Stop doing that!” I practically yelled, closing the distance between us to shove him lightly before he kissed the top of my head.

“You love me” He smirked, causing me to raise an eyebrow before breaking out laughing.

“Unfortunately so” I teased, before taking his and and leading him deeper into the forest, and towards our hiding spot. It was a small clearing in the forest, with a large pond and a few trees we used to hang up hammocks. I slipped off my shoes and discarded them along with my socks, Bellamy following my lead but removing his shirt first.

When I was finally stripped down to my panties and undershirt, I slowly waded into the water, gasping slightly as the cold water hit my stomach.

This feeling was short lived however, because I was the consumed by a wave of water caused by Bellamy jumping in.

“Bellamy it’s’ cold!” I shrieked as the wind hit my bare skin, causing goosebumps to rise and my arms to instantly wrap around my torso. Bellamy grinned at me before ducking under the water and swimming towards me, jumping out of the water to grab me and pull me deeper into the water, causing me to scream in surprise and him to laugh.

Bellamy swam to the point he could stand but only his head and neck where out of the water. He let his grip on my loosen, allowing me to turn around to face him and wrap my legs around his torso, but I refused to look at him in the eyes.

“Babe” Bellamy asked, trying to look at me but I turned my head the other way.

“Babe look at me” But I just kept looking the other way.

“Babe look, babe, babe, babe, babe, BAAAABE” He whined, accentuating the A.

“What?” I finally groaned, looking him in the eyes.

“You know, you look pretty sexy when you’re cold” He teased, causing my to smack his arm.

“You know damn well I hate the cold” I said, pressing closer to him, trying to absorb as much body heat from him as possible. The temperature was beginning to drop, and some of the leaves on the trees were already starting to change color, and Bellamy and I wouldn’t be able to come here as often, so we decided to make the most of it.

Don’t get me wrong, we would still see each other. Ever since the pact between the grounders and sky crew, the grounders where helping the sky people through the harsh winter. But still there was tension, and while it wasn’t forbidden to interact with sky people romantically, it was still weird for some people. Bellamy’s camp was no different. Some of them still look at me like they’re seeing an alien.

I sighed and wrapped my arms around  the back of Bellamy’s neck, leaning my head back to look at the sky, which now glowed a bright blue as the clouds moved away from the sun. I smiled at the warmth and looked back to Bell, to see he was already looking at me, smirking.

I smiled back before closing the space between us and pressing my lips to his, fluttering my eyes closed. Bellamy’s hands moved from around my torso and started to move downwards, holding under my ass as he held me up. My hands moved to his hair, gently pulling on the ends, causing him to moan. I took the opportunity to swipe my tongue along his bottom lip, before they parted, allowing our tongues to fight for dominance. My hand moved from the back of his head to slowly move down his chest, towards his already throbbing-

“WHAT THE FUCK?” Someone yelled,causing Bellamy and I to immediately split apart and get as far from each other as possible. I looked over to see a boy and a girl I recognized from the sky crew camp; Clarke and Jasper, both of which were staring at me with their jaws dropped. Bellamy and I immediately started blabbering, trying to come up with excuses as to why we had each others tongues shoved down our throats, but Clarke raised her hand to stop us before we could continue.

“I only need to know one thing” She started, causing Bellamy and I to give each other a side glance. “How long has it been going on?”

“About six months” Bellamy answered. I was expecting a lecture about, how wrong this was and how we should be ashamed, but before I could open my mouth to defend myself I heard Jasper shout.

“I fucking knew it! Pay up Griffin” He said, turning to Clarke who mumbled something before digging in her pocket to hand him a few old coins.

“Wait you knew?” I asked, my jaw dropping as the two nodded, Jasper grinning as he did.

“Everyone knew, you guys are practically eye fucking each other whenever you’re in each others sight” Jasper answered, causing a heat to rise on my cheeks, looking over to see a bit of redness on Bellamy’s as well.

“You guys should get out of the water, you could get sick” Clarke said, before turning to walk back to her camp, dragging Jasper behind her, and leaving a confused Bellamy and I in her wake.

A half hour later, Bellamy and I walked into the Sky Crew camp, hand in hand. Immediately everyone started staring at our conjoined hands, hearing a few ‘I knew it’s’ and a couple ‘I thought it was just a rumor’. We finally found a spot standing by the campfire, away from some of the stares, but not completely.

“So you guys are hooking up?” A voice said from my other side, causing me to look to see Murphy grinning at me, walking in front of me.

“Were not just hooking up” Bellamy started defensively, putting an arm around my shoulder. “She’s my girlfriend”

“Damn that sucks. I’d like to hit that.” He said, obviously trying to press Bells buttons, which seemed to be working. “How do we know you too are even really dating? I heard bribes are going around so maybe someone paid you off” He said, causing my face to heat up in rage but before I could take a step towards him Bellamy had suddenly dipped me and had his lips firmly attached to mine, causing a wave of ‘oohs” to go through the crowd. The kiss seemed to last forever, but not enough, and when we finally pulled away from each other, Murphy had already walked to the other side of the bon fire with a sour look on his face.

“I think that was proof enough don’t you?” Bellamy asked looking down at me.

“Nah, I think we should go again just incase” I said, wrapping my arms around his neck.

“Again?”

“Yeah” I finished, before finally pulling his lips back to mine, causing the camp to cheer and a few laughs to ring out. Maybe dating a sky boy isn’t as weird as I thought.
