🎀Kaede Akamatsu x Shuuichi Saihara -- The Promise🎀

Finally, I'm done with another story!!
I deserve praise for that, I think,,,,
(because, again, I haven't been updating and this took way longer than it should have,,,,)
Today's request was from @fanatic4books123~!!
I hope everyone likes this! （＾ω＾）

"Good evening, Kaede. Would you like anything to drink?"

Kaede turned around at the sound of a familiar voice behind her, and she giggled a bit.

"Oh, thank you so much, Kirumi~"

Kaede smiled as she took a cup of tea off of the tray Kirumi was holding.

"No problem, I'm just doing my duty."

Kirumi said as she bowed and walked away.

Kaede let the tea cool for a bit, and she walked around, drinking it.

As she walked, she came across Shuuichi sitting on a sofa, and he had a book in his hand.

Kaede came up behind him and poked his shoulder, and she said "Boo!" as if she were trying to scare him.

Needless to say, it worked, and Shuuichi dropped his book on the ground.

"Aw, come on, Kaede... Now I lost what page I was on...!"

Shuuichi said as he got up to retrieve the book.

"Sorry, sorry! And I'll get it for you, you don't need to get up."

Kaede offered.

She kneeled down and picked up the detective's book for him.

She didn't give it back to him right away, however.

She looked at the back of the book and read the summary, and then she started flipping through the pages.

"Oh my god, Shuuichi, why are you reading a cheesy romance novel?"

Kaede asked with a giggle.

She actually found it kind of cute that he was reading it.

"W-Well... I'm usually reading mystery stories, and... And well, I needed a change. And hey, give me that back!!"

Shuuichi said quite believably.

However, the poor boy was flustered and blushing to no end.

Kaede continued flipping through the pages, and she chuckled as she read a part of the book out loud.

"Her lips crashed onto his forcefully, and if he were to say he didn't enjoy it, well he would be lying. Minutes later, they were still kissing roughly, as their tongues were now involved. The sand from the beach was in their hair as the ocean breeze caressed their skin."

Kaede laughed after reading it, and she looked at Shuuichi, puzzled.

She then read some more pages in her head, but she looked away in disgust.

She then proceeded to hand Shuuichi back his book.

"Eugh, they have sex on the beach?!"
