♪ Trinity Fallen's P.O.V ♪You know those people in the background, only noticed if you cause trouble? I'm one of those people. Name's Trinity Fallen.. strange last name, I know. So, I love music.. basically, if I was alone on an island and could bring three things, I'd bring my phone, earbuds and my guitar.
I'm known as the one who's always wearing a hoodie, preferably my teal one, if not, my black one. I always sit in the back, right window seat in class. I don't talk often, I prefer to just listen to my music. I heard a bell ringing in the background. Crap, I'm late for class, I thought. I ran through the halls, making it to history. I zoned out, wishing it would end sooner.
I stared out the window, glancing at the clock every few minutes. I sighed, watching a few deer exit the forest around the school. I listened to the teacher, Mr. Jeffrey, blabber on in a monotone voice. The bell rang, signaling my favorite period; music. I picked up my bag, before rushing to music. I got there first.
I picked the song, Counting Stars, OneRepublic. The other students filed into class, late. I played the guitar, singing the song.(Play now)
‘‘Lately, I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But baby, I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We'll be counting stars
Yeah we'll be counting starsI see this life, like a swinging vine
Swing my heart across the line
And in my face is flashing signs
Seek it out and ye' shall find
Old, but I'm not that old
Young, but I'm not that bold
And I don't think the world is sold
On just doing what we're told
I-I-I-I feel something so right
Doing the wrong thing
I-I-I-I feel something so wrong
Doing the right thing
I couldn't lie, couldn't lie, couldn't lie
Everything that kills me makes me feel aliveLately, I've been, I've been losing sleep
Dreaming about the things that we could be
But baby, I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars

Dreaming about the things that we could be
But baby, I've been, I've been praying hard
Said no more counting dollars
We'll be, we'll be counting starsI feel the love and I feel it burn
Down this river, every turn
Hope is our four-letter word
Make that money, watch it burn
Old, but I'm not that old
Young, but I'm not that bold
And I don't think the world is sold
On just doing what we're told

The lessons I've learned..’’ I played the last few notes, the class began clapping loudly. I pulled my hoodie down more, going to my seat. I put my earbuds in, listening to the song I just played. I hummed to the song, picked up my bag and left class. I pulled my keys out of my bag, getting into my navy blue truck.I drove home, locked the car and walked inside. ‘‘Hey, sweetie. How was school?’’ Mom asked. ‘‘Same old, same old. I played that song, Counting Stars by OneRepublic.’’ I replied, taking a sandwich from the fridge.
‘‘I'm sure you were amazing, as always. Goodnight, Trinity.’’ I nodded in reply, kissing my mom's cheek and went to my room. Navy blue walls, green sheets, king sized bed, song lyrics all over the walls, guitar specially placed on my desk.
I sat on my desk chair, plopping my bag on the floor before getting out homework. I listened to music while finishing the homework. I plopped onto my bed, staring at the glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling, remind me of that song. I hummed the lyrics before climbing under the covers and falling into a dreamless sleep.
