"i still don't understand why you're making me go" i said as i zipped up my full suitcase.
"because my love, you haven't seen your father or your sisters ever since the divorce. i know you chose to like with me but that doesn't mean that you drop the rest of your family." my mom sighed.
i crossed my arms and looked at her.
"listen babe" she started and put her hands on my shoulders.
"your dad hasent seen you in a year and a half and he misses you. it's just for the summer it'll go by fast and if you desperately need me to pick you up. i'll be on my way" she told me calmly.
"okay fine" i slightly smiled.
she grabbed my suitcases and threw the in the back of the minivan.
i got in the front seat as i placed my phone on my lap while i untanged the headphones.
this is gonna be a long summer i thought as i put the headphones in my ears. seconds later mom put the car in reverse and said goodbye to the house i spent my whole life in.
