The story, I guess, starts in our city. At the time of our parents, there lived another girl, Lillian Alexandra Morgan.

She was basically why the whole operation started.

You see, she had these odd powers, no one could explain where they came from. It was most likely that she was born with them.

They were kept a secret from... everyone really. Only her parents, older brother, and the royal family knew about her "gift". She was kept out of sight from everyone else. The main reason for that was that she couldn't control them. Sometimes, she'd end up having little rages, letting loose any power left in her.

They were dangerous. Her parents knew if anyone found out, she'd end up being studied for the rest of her life.

And yeah, they let the royal family in on the secret, only because her mother, Alexandra Morgan, actually was best friends with the queen herself. The deal was that if anything happened, Queen Miranda would take care of Lily.

And something did end up happening. Something really, and I mean really, bad.

The night before her fourth birthday, yes, fourth, she was only four. Well, she had this... outburst, I guess. She lost control of her powers, went on a rampage. Her parents did everything to help calm her down, but nothing worked.

She ended up killing her parents. Sent an icicle through her dad's heart, electrocuted her mother. Actually, her mother died later in hospital. Either way, she killed them. And she felt really, really bad. She thought of herself as a monster.

So yeah, she ended up living with the royal family, though for her, it wasn't all tiaras and dresses. She preferred trying to live a normal life.

So basically, Lily's uncle, her mother's brother, was given her brother, Alex, to take care of. He was a scientist and after he was told about his sister's death, he wanted to figure out why. Why Lily ended up with those uncontrollable powers. He believed that there was a scientific answer to everything. He wanted answers.

So as Lily "enjoyed" life back at home, Gabe Taylor started the Evolutians, to help figure out how Lily's powers worked. How she got them in the first place.

He took innocent children from their families and experimented on them. Tried giving them powers, much like his niece. Back then, most - or well, all failed miserably.

By the time Lily was eight, Dr. Taylor probably experimented on seventy kids, all dying in the process.

It was only then that he remembered that Lily got her powers from birth.

So he started working on expecting mothers.

He gave the mothers a number of chemical mixtures, somehow getting them to convince them to do this, possibly killing them and their babies.

He killed twenty-two expecting mothers before finding a successor. His wife. His youngest son was the first successful Evolutian.

Kind of.

At age two and three, he started experiencing this... glitches. He couldn't exactly use them. They were just there.

Which is when Dr. Taylor added another stage to the experiment. The surgeries.

They were put in place to help... bring out the powers? Something like that. It helped the kids use their powers.

However, most died during the process. Including Dr. Taylor's son.
