"Hang on, I'll check your temp" Wyatt called out coming back from the kitchen with a glass of water.
"So you don't trust me" Jaeden argued.
"No, I'm just gonna see if you have a fever or a headache, Jaeden" Wyatt said, sitting next to his 'friend'.
Wyatt gently placed his hand on Jaeden's forehead.
"You're really hot" Wyatt said.
"Huh?" Jaeden muttered.
Did he just call me hot?
"That came out wrong, let me rephrase. Your forehead's super warm and you probably have a fever" Wyatt laughed.
Jaeden became flustered and his cheeks turned crimson.
"Ahahaha" Jaeden faux-laughed and clenched his teeth, earning a confused eyebrow raise from Wyatt.
"Maybe you don't have a fever after all" Wyatt joked.
"What do you mea-"
"You're probably just lovesick"
"Very funny, Wyatt"
"It's okay, I've got a cure"
"Sure thing, nurse Wyatt" Jaeden replied in his best sarcastic tone.
Wyatt leaned forward and kissed Jaeden, who awkwardly kissed back.
