I woke up, again, now with my hands tied up to a tree. I struggled to free my hands from the rope. As I struggled with my hands, I felt a weak spot on the rope that was thinned down quite a bit. I maneuvered my head to the weak spot of the rope, gnawing on it, hoping it would snap and I'd be able to get free. I heard voices in the distance, and turned my head to see Damion and Akio. 'Oh shit.' I thought. I continued gnawing on the rope tying my hands to the tree, and I heard a snap, causing my body to fall down a bit. My hands were free from the tree, but my hands were still tied together with a separate rope. I began gnawing on that rope, which, unfortunately, had no faults, but I still eventually got the rope off of my hands, and ripped the rag and duct tape off of my mouth, but not daring to run or make a sound yet. I saw Hiroki throw his knife to the side. "Sorry about that. I'll be using a better weapon." He said, then pulling out a gun. My heartbeat sped up by a mile when I saw him aim it at Damion. "Hiroki!" I yelled, trying to distract him. It worked. He lowered the gun and looked back at me. "What the hell is wrong with you, you stupid bitch?" He screamed. I made a mad dash towards him, shoving him to throw him off. I was now standing by Akio and Damion, and Hiroki was now several feet further away. Hiroki screamed in pain, and stood up, a branch now visibly protruding out of his right eye. He ripped the branch out and covered his eye with his hand, the blood pouring all down his face and down his neck. He held up the gun again, but now pointing it straight at me. His aiming was bound to be all over the place, but I still felt the fear take control of me. I had no more time to think, because I suddenly heard the earsplitting sound of the gun being shot, and I closed my eyes, knowing I was going to die. I heard Damion yell in shock and fear, and I opened my eyes. I was in the exact same place, unharmed and untouched. A sense of dread swept over me. That's when I realized what had happened. I didn't want to believe what I was seeing. It was too horrible. My whole world felt like it was crashing down around me. My reason for existence seemed to diminish. I looked at the ground in front of me, and to my horror, I saw a body laying in front of me, a bullet wound to the heart. Akio's body. I screamed in horror. My legs felt weak and I collapsed to my knees, sobbing. It was hard to breath. It was hard to think. It was hard to do anything but cry. Damion picked up the knife that Hiroki had thoughtlessly thrown to the side, and charged towards him with it, leaving his dark teal hoodie behind on the grass. Hiroki, who could no longer see properly and accurately, was stumbling, trying to fight back, but failing. He fired the gun again, unable to aim. The bullet grazed right past Damion's shoulder, and Damion was able to stab Hiroki in the leg, and then in the other. Hiroki fell to his hands and knees, unable to get back up, screaming and yelling in pain. "Stop. Please don't kill me." Hiroki begged. My sobs stopped, but the tears still flowed down my face. "Don't kill me." Hiroki repeated. "It's not like I can do anything more now. Just don't kill me." Damion's face was full of rage and hate, so much so it scared me a bit. "You've killed, so you deserve to be killed." Hiroki coughed up blood and began to laugh yet again. Damion gripped the knife tighter in his hands. "Okay, fine." Hiroki laughed. He was still gripping the gun weakly with his bloody hand. He lifted it up to his head. "If this is how it has to end, I'd rather die by my own hand than to you assholes." There was yet another earsplitting bang, and Hiroki's eyes glazed over, his lifeless body falling to the ground, a delirious grin still spread across his face. My breath was shaking as the tears continued falling down my face and neck. Damion was now covered in blood. It covered his face, his torso, his legs, his hands, and blood ran down his arm from where the bullet had grazed past. There was dead silence. All that was heard was blood and tears dripping to the ground, and our shaky breath. Suddenly, I saw Akio's hand twitch slightly. "Call 911, you idiot!" I sobbed, looking at Damion before running over and holding Akio's body in my arms.  I looked over at Damion again. "Damion hurry the fuck up!" I screamed. "There's no fucking service!" Damion yelled, tears gathering in his eyes and his voice breaking. I sobbed more. Akio had lost too much blood. Even if we could contact 911 and get an ambulance, it would be too late by the time they got there. The blood from the bullet wound getting on my arms and torso. Damion threw a black shirt at me, and I quickly realized it was mine. "I picked it up on our way here. You shouldn't have to be exposed." He had his dark teal hoodie back on his head by now. I looked away from Damion and back to Akio. "Damn it Akio! You idiot, you promised you'd never abandon me. You promised you'd never leave me. Why would you do something so fucking stupid?" I sobbed. And I heard Damion falling apart himself a short distance away, unable to bring himself to look at his friend. I could faintly hear Akio's weak breathing. He must've been in so much pain. After a few minutes, I couldn't hear his breathing anymore. Even faintly. He'd died in my arms. I sat there sobbing for what seemed like hours. Damion had stumbled over to a tree and thrown up. He stumbled over to another tree and sat down underneath it, his back leaning against it. He sat there for a few minutes and blacked out soon after that. I calmed down after about an hour of crying, and Damion woke up "T-This is really happening. Oh, god." Damion muttered, obviously fighting the urge to throw up yet again at the sight of all the blood and bodies. I walked over and sat next to him under the tree, a few tears still rolling down my cheeks. I sighed, wanting to cry and sob more, but was too tired. "Yeah, it is. He-He's dead. Akio. . . Akio's actually dead." I exhaled shakily. Damion reached over weakly and grabbed my hand in his. "But- We. . . We'll survive this, right?" He asked, uncertainty filling his voice. I nodded. "Yeah." I said, staring up at the sky. "Yeah, we will." Damion looked over at me, his eyes looking a bit less frightful. "Together?" He asked.

"Together."
