The next morning, you wake up feeling refreshed and so excited for the party. You get up and wash your face and brush your teeth. Then you run upstairs to get some breakfast. When you get upstairs, you see your mom and aunt Gigi eating and talking.

You: Good morning, ladies.

Mom: Hey honey. I see you're feeling better about living the Cali life.

You: No. But I'm excited for a party Lexie is taking me to tonight.

Aunt Gigi: See? I knew you guys would hit it off!

You: Yeah, she's pretty cool.

Mom: Why don't you join us for breakfast?

You: Sure!

You make yourself a plate of pancakes, eggs and sausage and sit at the table with them.

You: How are you guys?

Aunt Gigi and Mom stop making eye contact with you and get silent.

You: Whoa, what's going on here?

Your Mom starts to look sad.

You: Mom, what's the matter?

Aunt Gigi: You need to tell her. She deserves to know.

You: Know what?

Mom: No, I'm not ready. You don't need to be telling me when to tell my daughter things...

Your mom gets up and storms into her bedroom.

You look at aunt Gigi.

You: What's going on, aunt Gigi?

Aunt Gigi: It's not my place to share. I'm sorry honey.

You: Great. First Mom and Dad won't stop arguing and I have no idea why they are fighting, then Mom takes me away from my life in New York with no explanation, and now you guys are keeping even more secrets from me. Isn't this family just SO amazing?

Aunt Gigi" Y/n...

You: No, just stop please.

You get up and storm into the basement.

Grayson wakes up with a smile on his face.

Ethan: Wow, Gray. You excited for the party tonight or something?

Grayson: Yeah actually, I am.

Ethan: Do you think she'll be there?

Grayson: I'm really counting on it.

Ethan: Well I hope you find her and I'll definitely be helping you.

Grayson: Thanks, E. I don't know what I'd do without you.

Ethan: No problem, bro.

Grayson: What are we doing today?

Ethan: Just some filming and running a few errands.

Grayson: Alright, cool. I'll go get ready.

// At aunt Gigi's house //

You are sitting on the couch in the basement when your mom walks downstairs and sits next to you.

You: Ready to tell me?

Mom: No. But I want you to know that I love you and I appreciate you coming with me.

You: Why can't you just tell me? I come to Los Angeles out of nowhere with you even though you still won't tell me why we had to leave.

Mom: Some things are better left unsaid.
