Teka is a relatively small town. The Blue River snakes its way around town in a U- shape. There's not any big stores, they're all local, run by the people who live in town. Surprisingly each store in our town in named something interesting. For example we've got 'Unicorn', our vintage clothing shop. 'Le Petit Cafe' is our cafe in town. 'Shakespeare and Company' is our bookstore. 'Grey Friars Art Shop' is our little arts and craft store. 'Sherlock Holmes' is our only fancy restaurant in a 50 mile radius. We do have a 'Ben & Jerry's'. You can bike ride practically anywhere. We have the stamina to do it. Church is on Sunday mornings and at 5 o'clock on Saturday nights its poker night at 'Tim's Bar', the only bar in town, anyone can come in. The cars around here are pretty much all pickups of various shapes and sizes. The cars owned by the teenagers, (hardly any), are old, colorful, and unique. Most of the time your on your bike or on horseback.

Go ahead and call Teka a back country town. We dont mind. We are proud of that fact.

Any kid here could beat a city kid in a foot race.

Anyone here can name every person within 20 miles, because we know everyone personally.

We can all swim expertly.

Shoes? Who needs them?

We can all fly-fish and we actually catch fish.

Every night, we see more stars than a city dweller will probably see in a life time.

Beat That.
