I'm... I'm in the world of Hercules?! (Disney's Hercules Love story)

Go the Distance/Zeus's Temple

My POV:
The crowd started to yell at Hercules, then the guy from before walked up to us, ripping the disc out of Herc's hands and said, "Nice catch, Jerkules." I glared at him, making him look at me, then before he walked away, I decked him in the face, soon shaking my hand from the pain as he was dragged away.

"Ow, ow, ow...." I said softly, holding my hand close to me, Hercules about to comfort me before Amphitryon intervened and tried to reason with the angry mob. But he got cut off by all the angry people's voices, and I glared at the crowd, about to yell at them.

Soon we hear the voice of the man that owned the pottery shop, shouting angrily, "This is the last straw, Amphitryon!"

A woman pointed at Hercules angrily, saying, "That boy is a menace!"

"He's too dangerous to be around normal people!" People were just yelling out rude comments, making me angry, feeling a hand on my shoulder, looking back at Hercules, calming down while Amphitryon spoke up and said to the crowd sadly, "He didn't mean any harm, he's just a kid. He-he just can't control his strength." I step forward, saying, "That's right! You can't just judge someone because of their differences!" Then someone threw a rock at me, hitting my cheek, causing a bit of blood to well up, hearing gasps.

Taking deep breaths, I close my eyes, tightening my hands into fists, trying to calm down as one of the people shout at me, "You always defend that loser! Why don't you just go somewhere and get killed by a Minotaur or something?!" I open my eyes, seeing the blonde guy from before, then I start to stalk towards him, about to punch him in the face again when Amphitryon held me back, telling me to calm down.

The pottery shop owner stepped forward and said while pointing at Hercules, glaring at him, me and Amphitryon, "I am warning you! You keep that-that-that... Freak away from here!!" The crowd agreed with him, and they started to walk away, going back home. Then the pottery shop owner said over his shoulder, "Oh, and take your little friend with you, before she does something she'll regret."

I growled, about to go up to him and tell him off before seeing Hercules walking away from the scene, making me sigh. I go up to Amphitryon, telling him, "I'll talk to him, sir.... After all, he is my best friend." After seeing him nod to me, I went to my cart, riding it home to first bring the things I bought back, then to go find Hercules.

Pretty soon, I finally found Hercules, he was standing by the ledge of a cliff, looking out towards the ocean where the sun shone beautiful colors of red, orange and yellow. He looked so sad, skipping rocks across the water, not once noticing I was there.

I watch him for a while, holding the carving I made in my hand, then I sigh, going up to him saying, "Hey, Herc." He turned around to face me after jumping a little, looking at me with wide eyes. He looked so surprised when he said to me, "Oh, hey Brandi! Gods, you startled me." I chuckled, walking up to him and ruffling his hair, giving him the carving, which was a helmet with our names on it.

"You doin' okay? I still can't believe they would do that..." I say softly, looking at him after wiping my cheek, brushing some dried blood away, seeing him look at the carving. He sighed, giving me a side hug, which I turned and gave him a real hug, feeling his arms wrap around me, his head on top of mine.

"No.... I'm not doing okay, Brandi. Everything I do, I just..." Hercules started to say, sighing as he pulled back, looking into my brown eyes. "I just feel like....-" He started to say, but I finish by saying, "Like you don't belong here... You should be somewhere else." He nods, going over to the edge of the cliff, picking up a rock before skipping it, watching it go towards the horizon.

-cue song: H- Hercules, M- Me, H+M- Us singing together-

H: I have often dreamed of a far off place where a great warm welcome will be waiting for me.

I walk up to him, holding his hand while smiling at him.

M: Where the crowds will cheer when they see our faces and a voice keeps saying this is where we're meant to be.
H: We will find our way. We can go the distance.
M: We'll be there someday. If we can't be strong.
H: I know every mile will be worth our while.
M: We will go most anywhere to feel like we belong.

As we sang, we walk to the forest near the cliff, and start climbing a tree together, looking up at the stars, before soon climbing back down and walking towards Hercules's home. I went to my home real quick, grabbing my bag and cloak, since I was going to Zeus's temple to find answers about why I was brought here, and because Herc asked me to come along with him.

Once I give my parents a hug and tell them I will come back sometime soon, I go over to Herc's house and see that he was with his parents. As his mother gives him the medallion with the lightning bolt on it, I think to myself, 'I came at just the right time.... Hopefully Zeus will give me the answers I need.'

Then Hercules saw me and gestured me to come over, which I did and gave his parents a hug, wishing them a farewell. 'Here we go,' I thought to myself, giving Herc a soft smile, the both of us nodding as we head off.

H: We are on our way. We can go the distance.
M: We don't care how far. Somehow we'll be strong.
H: I know every mile. Will be worth our while.
M: We would go most everywhere to find where we belong.

Once we get to the temple, it was pouring down raining, and I looked over at Hercules, seeing him look at me. Before I knew it, he reached out and took my hand, holding it in his, causing me to blush, thankful that it was dark outside.

As we walk inside, I thought to myself, 'This is it. We will get our answers, and I might be able to find a way back home once I help Hercules.' I smiled softly, taking a deep breath, pulling my cloak off while Herc watched me, wondering what I was smiling about, soon walking beside me inside, looking around the place.
