My POV:
I hear the monster, I think his name started with an 'N', say to Meg, who was wearing a purple dress that is almost similar to the one I wore at the beginning, and long flowing brown hair up in a ponytail, "Not so fast, sweetheart." Then Meg tried kicking out at him, saying with an annoyed tone, "I swear, Nessus, put me down or I'll --" Nessus, that's what his name was! Anyway, he said to her lustfully, "Whoo! I like 'em fiery!" As he got close to her, making me almost gag. Pegasus nudges me, making me smile softly at him, petting his mane.

I was about to ask Hercules how we should handle the situation, when I see that he was getting madder and madder by the second. "Now remember, kid. First, analyze the situation. Don't just barrel in there without thinkin' -- yeow! Ah!" Phil started to say, but we all see Herc was already marching towards Nessus and Meg.

Phil crosses his arms, saying to me and Pegasus, "He's losin' points for this!" I shake my head, scratching it as I watch Hercules talk to the Centaur. 'This is where the trouble starts... Great.' I think to myself, sighing as I was about to go help Herc out.

But before I can take a step forward, Nessus smacks Hercules, sending him flying until he lands in the water, dropping his sword. I hear Phil screaming at Herc, "Oooohh!! What are you doin'? Get your sword!" I start to go over to him, ignoring Phil's calls for me to come back, as I hear Herc mumble, "Sword. Right, right... Rule #15: A hero is as good as his weapon!" But, instead of his sword, Hercules had picked up a fish and pointed it at Nessus. The Centaur laughs loudly while Meg raised an eyebrow, a 'Is he serious?' look on her face.

Before I could say anything, Nessus hits Herc again, causing him to hit a large rock in the head. I growl, running over to punch Nessus in the face, but he grabs me, about to pull me up, when I stab his hand with my sword, causing him to drop me. Then, I hear Phil yell to Hercules, "Come on, kid, concentrate! Use your head!"

As I turn around to go help Hercules, I heard Nessus say to me, "Where do you think you're going?" Then he picks me up again, making me drop my sword. "Let go of me, you son of a skyla!" I yell, causing Meg to look at me wide-eyed, then she gave me that small smile of hers.

As I was struggling, I can hear Hercules running head on towards Nessus, hitting him square in the stomach with his head, causing the Centaur to let me and Meg go. I land on my feet while Meg falls into the water ungracefully, and I bend down to pick up my sword, wincing slightly. "Alright! Not bad, kid! Not exactly what I had in mind, but not bad." Phil exclaimed happily, making me shake my head as I put my sword away.

"Brandi! You okay?" Hercules asked me, a look of worry in his eyes, making me chuckle. "I'm fine, Herc. Let's get this lady out of the water and finish this guy off." I said, going over to Meg, picking her up and putting her on a large rock.

"Oh...gee, Miss, I'm... I'm really sorry. That was dumb." Hercules said to her, making me close my eyes as I brush my hair back. Then Meg parted her hair from her face and looked at him, saying sarcastically, "Yeah." 'Seriously? You should appreciate him more, chick...' I thought to myself, sighing as Nessus was about to charge at us.

"Yo, Herc. Deal with Big Blue, will ya? I got this..." I say, seeing him nod at me, saying to us, "'Scuse me," soon attacking Nessus, punching him in the head several times and throwing him. I smile, leaning against the rock, crossing my arms.

"Nice work! Excellente!" Phil yells to Hercules, making Meg say while wringing her hair out, "Is Wonderboy here for real?" I glared at her, but sighed, looking forward, noticing her look over at me. "Can I help you with something?" I ask Meg without looking at her, seeing from the corner of my eye that she was about to say something, when Phil tries to flirt with her, which didn't go so well, making me chuckle.

"So, you Wonderboy's girlfriend?" I hear Meg ask me, turning my head to see her give me that smirk of hers. Blushing, I shake my head, "What? No! We're... We're good friends, okay? Best friends, I guess you could say." I look forward, seeing Hercules was still riding Nessus, screaming in delight, "Yee-hah! Yahoo!"

Pretty soon, Hercules took Nessus out by riding him, grabbing a branch of a tree and flipping them around like an acrobat right into a tree trunk. When Nessus turned around and glared, Hercules and I, who went over as soon as they got to the tree, punched the Centaur straight into the air, causing Pegasus to look up in approval. Then Nessus came crashing down, followed by his horse shoes, which hit him in the head in the exact same spot, the fourth staying on the developing bump.

Pegasus lightly blew Nessus over, then walked on top of him and pushed his head deeper into the water, while I kicked Nessus in the side. "Ow! Sweet mother of -- Ah!" I say, holding my foot, getting back on land, wincing in pain.

While Phil was lecturing Hercules, I rub my foot, taking deep breaths, watching as Hercules walks over to Meg, not even asking if I was okay. I lean against an apple tree, frowning slightly and closing my eyes to calm myself down, not noticing that Herc was looking at me with worry.

When I open my eyes again, I see Meg walking away saying, "Bye-bye, Wonderboy. And you too, Wondergirl." I furrow my eyebrows, walking over to Hercules, seeing him give a slight wave to Meg, a dazed look on his face. "Bye. She's... something, isn't she Phil?" Herc asked the Satyr, making me cross my arms, thinking, 'Oh, she's something, alright...'

Shaking my head, I get an apple, taking a bite out of it while Phil replies, "Yeah, oh, yeah, she's really something. A real pain in the patella! Come on, you two! We got a job to do, remember?" Finishing my apple, I whistle Pegasus down and he scoops us up, flying up to the sky.

"Yeah. Yeah, I know." Herc said, looking back at me, only to see me look across the horizon. "Brandi, are you okay?" He asked me, having me look at him. I nod, ruffling his hair, smiling slightly, causing him to laugh softly, turning towards the front.

I knew Meg was watching us fly towards Thebes, and I couldn't help but think to myself, 'Man... Why do these things have to be so damn complicated?' But soon, not knowing how, I would prove my worth not only to the people of Thebes, but also to Hercules and the gods.
