Chapter 1

I hide my face, I still wanted to
keep it a secret that I'm atending Wellston.
I want to surprise big brother but am still
a bit startled from earlier. I start heading
towards the cafeteria with thoughts pouring in like:
Are these kids all high tiers, am I considered a weakling here, and
is my brother truly happy at this school.

Hi Emma! Remi says waving across the cafeteria.
I walk in that direction until I see a piece of paper get
thrown at me and terribly miss. I pick it up and read this:

It seems you are new so we would like to

What the, is this normal here?
Should I ask Remi, I really don't
want to bother her... I go over to Remi after I realize I
was standing frozen for who knows how long.
Maybe I can trust her, she I ask about John and that
bully isn't. I don't know I should tell dad first.
He'll know what to do.

Took you long enough! These are my friends,
Isen and Blyke. Said Remi.

Hay! You can't go back to doc and make a mess again!
Just yesterday you fought over a stupid pen?! Said Remi.

I went silent from there, until.

So Emma? Do you know anyone else here or are
you new to the area? Said Remi.

Well I was hoping on surprising someone tomorrow...
I say faintly.

Oh, how so? Said Blyke.

Well I have a big brother attending here so I wanted to go here to.
I may of came later in the year because it took some convincing. I say.

Strict parents? Said Blyke.

No, there just worry. They know my brother is doing
just fine---. I trail off remembering what I saw
heading to my dorm.

How strong are the people around here? I say out of
know where after 2 minutes off silence.

The usual we have all kinds, but we still have those strong kids
that keep us on top. Said Isen.

So... who are on the top. I say suddenly interested.

Well Sera of course, and Arlo and me and Isen and definitely
Remi..... Elaine...! That's who is on the top. Said Isen.

They must be real strong to beat my brother. I've never bet him and I'm
as strong as Remi.... strange...

Wait?! Your as strong as her! Said Isen in shock.

Yeah, I'm the same as her, also Remi we are roommates
because the principal told me that we are equal in
strength. I was really happy it was you and not a bully?

So Emma who's your brother by the way.
Maybe we just missed him on the list. Said Blyke.

Isen had a stern expression like
he knew what I was going to say.

I said, can you not tell him I'm here if I tell you...?
