Chapter 8

I see John waving to someone as they leave and
here a couple of girls gossiping behind me.

I heard Seraphina got in trouble
cause of him. Girl One.

Well John won't have anyone to hide
behind. Girl Two.

So he deserves it. Girl One.

I didn't know what they meant and then I saw a stone
guy approaching him looking mad.
What's he.... Emma says.

You don't know, Gavin has been waiting
for this ever since John threw him out a
window, Johns not going to survive. Girl Two.

I want to help John but I'm probably going
to make it worse. He's already really
mad at me. Maybe I should leave and make him happy.
Emma thinks in her head.
Wait what day is it... 8/32/17.
Huh it's Johns birthday tomorrow
maybe I can make things right!

Emma! How's it going you weren't
home for awhile and when you got
there you went right to sleep so I didn't
get to talk to you. Remi says.

Oops sorry. I know I shouldn't be asking
this but do you know who  John's friends
are and there names? Emma asks.

Uh. Seraphina and... Remi pauses.

Oh you must have not heard the rumors
she left this morning. Remi says.

Well thanks anyways you want to ask me
something? You mentioned it before that you wanted
to talk to me. Emma thinks.

Oh yeah but can we go in private.
Remi asks.

Sure. I say.

Ok so I'm going to tell you before I say it
that if you believe me can we talk to the
principal together. Remi asks.

Yeah. I say.
