This is what I imagine the scene of Travis and Zane meeting but of course I doubt it's actually how that's going to play out you know Zane saving Travis with his blue fire but anyways hope you like the fan art

Also in my mind this is how the scene would play out

Travis is trying to get some swimming in, since we all know he's a competitive swimmer, he swims too far out and is then attacked by
A large sea monster of sorts and Zane would be out maybe getting herbs or something like that, and has seen the commotion goes up and rescues him, but because the monster had dragged Travis so deep under the water he had to give him an amulet that could give him breath, because Vlad recently told him that humans coul,d not breathe underwater
And he was out getting the Herbst to finish the amulet but he needed a lock of the person whom he would be giving me to his hair for it to be activated

(which would mean only that one person could use it)

which he got it in the nick of time before Travis drowned
Zane save Travis and took them to an underground cave which he only knew about where he has a bunch of
Books on sorcery to let him rest and process what just happened, and because that's the only spot that Zane can go without having his Guardian find him.

Of course this doesn't actually happen I just think this would be a cute scenario
