Chapter 9

As the party went on we shouted and sang - horribly. Dauntless leaders and others had filled in slowly. I hardly noticed them come in until later. I seen Eric smiling and holding a girl close. I almost cried but I angrily felt a need to prove him I was better. Everyone quietly agreed to come back later for a real party. I left getting the sexyest dress I could get. It showed off my sexy tattoos and some smooth legs, it was tight to show off my curves. My boobs were slightly shown - I wasn’t going that far. I got my hair in a bad-girl style. With cute flats that went perfectly. I had eyeshadow to make my gray eyes shine. I looked at Tammy who smirked “Oh he’ll just faint.” I laughed and walked proudly in and guys smirked. My male pack members knew. They let only a few humans get close. Eric did a double take his eyes took in every inch. The girl at his side hit his chest. He couldn’t rip his eyes away. Max made a comment and Eric glared. I just walked off taking a cute human male. I didn’t look at Eric but I could feel his eyes.

As I sat at the bar waiting for Tammy and Derek, I heard someone come up behind me. I looked and seen Four. “Hey.” I said politely. He looked at me and smiled a little “Hello Kara. I see you’re trying to make an impression?” I laughed “Nope. I was told.. no.. demanded to look sexy. So I attempted to fit the bill.” I smiled at Four while I played with my drink. “Well you didn’t need try. You already fit that bill.” he sipped his drink and I blushed. “Well thank you.” He nodded and smiled again “Care for a dance?” I nodded “Sure.” I took his hand and my eyes couldn’t help but find Eric’s. He was glaring so hatefully I almost had to shrivel to the ground and beg for mercy. I walked onto the floor with Four and his hand went to my waist. Mine went to his. I felt wrong and dirty. I want him to be Eric. As we danced I couldn't help but feel broken. My wolf angrily snapped at me and tried to tear me away.  Until I heard what I had been begging s girl to say. But it wasn’t a girl it was a guy. I seen Eric and I fought back a smile. “May I cut in?” Four grumbled and I looked up into Eric’s eyes as we let our hands travel to each others waist. “Why dance with me?” I asked. My voice was normal and steady. Eric looked at me with slight confusion “What do you mean?” I looked away “Well you did have another girl.” He took a deep break and sighed “Max has been trying to set me up. I only looked happy because I wanted to please him.” I sighed and looked at the other couples. They had their arms around each other and seemed to be at peace. Eric noticed and put his arms around my waist and I looked at him in shock “Maybe it’s time he sees I have what I want.” I smiled and put my arms around his neck. I put my head on his chest and felt at peace. Eric put his head on mine. When the song ended he kept his arm around my waist and escorted me to the Leaders.I felt slightly nervous but I didn’t show it. “So this is the stunning female I have heard so much about.. Whats your name girl, Full name?” I was taken back but I responded “Kara SilverWing.” Max and the other dauntless lead just looked at me. Max stood and so did two other leaders. I felt Eric tense beside me. “SilverWing?” I nodded and was confused. “Y-Your father...No wonder you are so good. Your mother and father where the best dauntless every known. Your mother was the first dauntless female leader.” I took a deep breath and nodded “Thank you, I had no idea.” Max nodded and so did the others “We will allow you and Eric to be together. Only because I have no doubt you will make it and qualify for a leadership position.” I smiled “Thank you..” an older leader put his hand out “May I shake your hand?” I nodded and shook his hand. He smiled and sat down. Eric lead me away and for us to be alone. He smiled and put his arms around me kissing me deeply. “I had no idea why didn’t you tell me?” he asked. I sighed “I-I had no idea.. I didn’t know my parents. That’s why I came from Erudit.” I looked up at him. He looked a little hurt “Oh I had no idea-” I laughed “Thank you. I would never have found out if it wasn’t for you.” He smiled and put his hand on my cheek “Anything for you.” I laughed and took his hand. We walked down the hall and caught stares. I didn’t care about them. Ignored them and stayed near Eric. “Would you like to see the rankings?” he looked at me. I thought about it “No.. I made it right?” He rolled his eyes “Of course.” I smiled and continued walking “Then no.” He gave a small quiet nervous breath “Would you like to sleep in my room? With me?” I looked at him and laughed “Yeah.” he nodded and lead me to his room. “I don’t have clothes…” He looked at me “Deal with that tomorrow?” I gave a sigh of relief. I didn’t want to talk back there now. He handed me one of his shirts. I undressed and put it over my head and it went almost to the center of my thighs. I curled in bed next to Eric. He smiled and put his arms around me. I felt his built and toned arms and chest. It made me shiver in pleasure.
