What is a human life worth?
I'm serious. Would you put a monetary value on it? Is the human life worth one million dollars? One billion dollars? Or would you say it has no price? Life is priceless? All I know is that my friend Destiny taught me that the value of life doesn't have a dollar sign slapped on it. The value of life changes all the time. What you do with friends, your family. The things that make you who you are. The choices you make. Those things are the value of life.
My friend Destiny taught me that whatever comes our way, we always have a choice. Destiny chose to be the best of herself - no matter what was happening to her. Inside, or out. You see, it's really the choices that make us who we are and whoever we are, we can choose to be the best of ourselves. These last few months have taught me that.
