Chapter Thirteen

~ Bob, Thunder and Words

After a lovely meal I helped Vanessa clean up then we went to ask Tom if he wanted to come with us to the carnival "Yeah sure" he said as he walked into the toilets with Ben I went back to my camp with Ella and changed her into some leggings a t shirt and a light jacket over the top I also changed into some leggings and put on some flats I hopped outside the caravan and saw Ella in toms arms "Ready to go" Ben asked I nodded and we walked out I locked up the camp and we made our way down to the carnival Tom was holding Ella and walking in front of us while ben's arm was around my waist holding me tightly 

"You know hopefully Tayla doesn't do anything else to us" Ben said "Yeah but I know she will and I hardly believe what Charlie told me before I mean she's probably lying about it all" I said "yeah thinking about it your probably right you know what don't be friends with her" he said "I wasn't planning to any time soon" I said "I think she will try to become friends with me again right then go behind my back and probably get dirty with you" "Nat don't think like that I'm not dumb id know if something wasn't right" he said I feel like I'm pissing him off because he's getting quite snappy lately I think I'm not going to talk a lot now "Ok" I said and we walked the rest of the way in silence 

Why does he have to keep sticking up for them? It just doesn't make sense he said he's going to protect me but hasn't and when I tell him the negative about something he changes it to the positive why? What did I do wrong? 

I walked out of his grip to where Ella was and we walked into the gates of the carnival "Lalie can we play the game" she asked pointing at the clown game I nodded and we walked over and she put the balls in the clowns mouth she won a little stuffed teddy bear "What are you going to name it?" Tom asked "Uhm bob" she said and Tom started laughing "Why are you laughing at her?" I asked slightly smiling "I'm not bob the bear is a great name" he said shifting his eyes from side to side "Yeah I'm really sure you think that haha" I laughed and walked over to Ben who was standing leaning on a post "What's up" I asked wrapping my arms around him "Uhm nothing I was just thinking about my parents" he said placing his head on my shoulder 

"Ben it's okay your parents love you" I said "But they don't love each other" he said "Sometimes that happens to families the parents just go in different directions and what they once felt is not there any more" I said "Your right can I ask you a question" he asked "You just did but you can ask me another one" I said laughing he let go of me and I pulled away but I still was standing close to him "Haha very funny no I was going to ask what do you feel when I'm close to you" he asked "Ben whenever I see your face it gives me butterflies so when you are close to me I feel like I'm going to faint" I said "So practically your saying every time I'm around you get nervous?" He asked "yeah" I said shyly looking down "Aww you don't have to be nervous around me and to be honest you give me butterflies as well" he said then pecked me on the lips "I love you" he mumbled against my lips I pulled his head closer then we pulled apart just resting our foreheads on each others "I love you to" I said then pulled back 

"Ugh would you to please stop" Tom said walking over to us "Why yourgot a problem?" I asked laughing "Yes actually" he joked "C'mon" Ben said grabbing my hand and we walked over to where Ella was sitting eating an ice cream that I'm pretty sure Tom bought her "Is that nice?" I asked she nodded and licked it again I laughed and looked up at Ben who was looking down at me smiling "What" I asked why does he always do that "Your really good with kids" he said "Well sometimes I feel like a kid" I said Natalie what happened to not give him long answers "I think everyone does" Tom said  "It's just makes life better" I said agreeing with Tom "Well what if people don't like acting like kids" Ben said Here we go the negative side "Then they don't have to" I said and went off with Ella
