This book was well written, with only a few gramatical and spelling mistakes throughout. That alone earns it at least a couple ++.
The story's idea was an interesting one, but I think it could've been a lot more developed. I wanted to know more, the book ended with way too much mystery.
*spoiler alert* How did Carter orchestrate everything? Did she organise anything else that didn't go through? Did she plan to die? Etc, etc... *spoiler end*
There's way too many questions left unanswered. Usually a mystery story doesn't end mysteriously, you actually figure the mystery out. If it was supposed too be more of a thriller, well. There weren't any really thrilling parts, so I wouldn't classify it as a thriller.
Overall, good story, well written, but not well rounded out.
This book receives a rating of ++++.
