From now on the book will be in 3rd person point of view. This should solve my writing problem.
Ever since you became Sanji's second set of hands in the kitchen you both have been getting to know each other better. Not so much getting close but more of you both knew each other well.
"Land!" Usopp called from the crows nest. You perked up from the card game you and some of the boys were playing, setting down your cards and then stood up going to the side of the ship marveled to see land in the distance.
"She's staring at an island as if she's never seen land before"Franky laughed loudly.
"The girl is a princess, give her a break" Zoro snapped at Franky with little effort.
"Got to agree with Marimo. She probably hasn't left her kingdom once in her life. Well... Not until now at least," Sanji agreed with Zoro which surprised a small chunk of the crew.
"Hey Princess" Robin called out for you, joining you in the view of the nearby island.
"Oh hi Robin" you turned to her.
"We want to take you shopping. How about it?" Robin offered to take you out to the shopping district of the island. Nami stood on the sidelines letting Robin talk.
"Sure thing" you grinned getting your stuff around.
"What are you packing up for?" Nami poked her head into the girls dorm after you.
"Oh, I took some valuables from my castle. I planned to sell them for money so that I could stay on my feet. I still plan to sell them to help the crew out" you explained as Nami lit up like a christmas tree at your claims.
"That's over a million bellies worth of gold" she excitedly states taking the bag from your hands. "Thanks for the donation (Y/n)!" Nami thanked you.
"No problem Nami" you smiled letting Nami take however much of gold she wanted from your stash. As you went ahead to deck shocked at how much closer the ship was to the new island.
Everyone was getting around ready to head out on the new island. Nami came around holding her bag of gold clearing her throat catching everyone's attention.
"Okay everyone we need a plan of attack here. Zoro as usual you stay on the ship to keep guard." Nami told Zoro.
"Yeah yeah" Zoro leans against a wall closing his eyes.
"I need more medical supplies" Chopper said as he holds out his blue backpack.
"And more food supplies" Sanji claims with crossed arms.
"Okay then why don't you both shop together" Nami said as Chopper lit up.
"How fun!" Chopper giggled.
"I'm going to stay here and work on the Sunny. Usopp could you get me these?" Franky handed Usopp a sheet of paper.
"Looks like I'm joining you both" Usopp looked towards Sanji and Chopper.
"The more the merrier" Chopper smiled.
"Luffy you're with me, Robin, and (Y/n)" Nami poked Luffy while he makes a shocked expression.
"What why!?" He whines.
"Cause we don't need you getting lost like usual. Plus it wouldn't hurt to have a little extra protection" Robin pats Luffy on the head.
"Fine..." Luffy groans earning a small laugh from yourself.
Not even a half hour later, the Thousand Sunny made it into port on the new island. Luffy dragged you all out into town until Robin restrained him with her multiplying arms.
"So what shopping do we need to do?" You asked the girls.
"Well it isn't necessary but we are doing some clothes shopping. Sound fun?"
"I've never been clothes shopping" you told Nami. "My parents had tailors sew me dresses. Actually now that I think about it. I've never had a choice in what I wore" you bit your lip in disgust. Being a royal now sounded like torture to you.
"That sucks. Well today you get to choose" Nami nudged you. Then took a sharp turn into a clothing store nearby. You immediately took interest into the large selection of clothes.
"You know for a princess you sure aren't picky" Robin commented as she looked at some of the clothes you had at hand.
"Nope, I was a rebellious princess. When I was told to do my make up I went to help the servants instead. So I take what I can get" you enjoyed that part of yourself. Which is why you fit in with the Straw Hats so well.
"That explains a lot" Robin says as she found you a few dresses. Nami joined in and picked out a few, then throws you into the fitting room. You didn't question them and tried on dresses. Exiting the fitting rooms after each dress.
There was a few good dresses that you kept in a separate pile to buy later. But you saved your favorite for last.
You stepped out of the dressing rooms once more in a light teal dress with spaghetti straps and a skirt that met your knees.
"So what do you all think?" You spun around once then placed your hands on your hips.
"Perfect" Robin grinned.
"Yes perfect! How come you didn't try it on sooner?" Nami pestered you with questions.
"She doesn't look half bad" Luffy states as he was mindlessly picking his nose.
"Utterly breathtaking" a familiar voice says from behind the group. The girls stepped aside showing Sanji with a gentle grin.
"Oh thanks Sanji" you grinned in return.
"But you're missing something" Sanji stepped over to Luffy, takes his Straw Hat. Then steps over to you placing the Straw Hat on your head. "Perfect"
"Really?" You turned around to a mirror nearby seeing how Luffy's straw hat tied the entire look together. "Thanks Sanji, I look great"
"Anything for my princess" your cheeks began to turn pink at his cute comment. Sanji saw you in your pink mess from behind you through the mirror.
