Albus couldn't believe it. He stared at the letter clutched tightly in his hand. It couldn't be real, could it. No, he was quite sure that it wasn't. He must be dreaming. It had to be surreal. It would just be a dream, gone like a forgotten memory, right?
But still... Even if it wasn't true, Albus couldn't help feel exhilarated, as he stared at it. Slowly, he pulled open the letter, made from thick parchment, with a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake were embossed into wax seal.
Written with green ink was:
Mr.A.Potter
No.12 Grimmauld Place
4Th bedroom
Surrey(A/N anyone know where Grimmauld Place is located? If so pls comment)
It was definitely his. He peeled the letter open and pulled out the thick parchment
. He read it out loud:
HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY
Headmistress:Minerva McGonagall, Honary member of the Order of Phoenix, supreme mugwamp, Order of Merlin First Class.
Dear Mr. A. Potter
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

He stared at the page in disbelief before pulling out the second paper, which read:
HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY
UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

For a few seconds Albus could only stare at the letter.
" Mum. Mum ! " he couldn't speak.
Then he looked up from the letter, suddenly feeling exhilarated. His mum was looking at him, smiling.
"That's great Albus! We can go tomorrow to Diagon Alley, that is if you want. "
Nodding his head fiercely, Albus ran straight up to his fathers study, in the attic.
"DAD! DAD I GOT IT! I GOT THE LETTER! IM GOING TO HOGWARTS!" He yelled streaming into the office, the door banging, causing his father to jump, and spill an ink pot on himself.
"I'm going" he muttered to himself, "I can't believe I'm going"
His father saw he seal on the letter, and beamed at his son. " Congrats Al, I always knew you would get it. "
"LUNCH IS READY" he heard his mother yell.

That night Albus went to bed, overjoyed. He would be going to Hogwarts. He was going to get his wand tomorrow.

A/N I know it was short, but it's just a filler. Btw Chapter 11 Albus will be going to Hogwarts and being sorted. Sorry for the long wait, but school started, and it's too stressful. I might be able to update more from 1st to 7th September, but after that I have a school field trip to Egypt so update might be extremely slow.
