Manipulation, lies, and cooing
Made me feel "safe".
Yet you still continued to torture me
Mentally, spiritually, and physically.
Rape. A concept a 10 year old
Can't grasp like you grasped me.
You took advantage of me,
Of my body.
Fast asleep I went.
Inside of me you went.
I awoke to your voice,
"It's just a dream. Go back to sleep."
You continued without my permission.
Many times besides the once.
I wasn't your only victim,
The other was only 5.
Innocence you took from us,
Understanding you gave.
You took advantage of him, of his body
Like you did mine.
You left scars on us
But not physical.
One on my heart,
One in my brain.
One in my family,
And one hundred on my soul.
