*Above picture is Christian and Zach*

Christian and Zach were new to the school at the beginning of grade 11. At first, Xander and Brody hated on the two boys, thought they were dicks. Then, Brody was visiting his father who lived in a poor area of the town and noticed the two boys outside their yard. Xander had gone with Brody that day to visit his father for brotherly encouragement and saw the two boys at the same time. Christian was laughing as Zach swung around a young girl by her hands. There were another young girl and boy sitting in a sandbox close to the broken down fence surrounding the house - more like a shack - and an older girl sat on the porch reading a book. Brody and Xander had gone into the house, trying to ignore the family, and had a short, to the point conversation with Brody's dad. The visit ended with some yelling and a slamming front door. Once back outside they could hear more yelling.

"I won't have them talking to me like that, Jane!" A loud man's voice boomed out from the house as Xander and Brody walked past, pausing at the fence.

"I won't have you- you bastard talking to our mom like that!" A higher, but still manly voice yelled.

"Christian, please, just stay out of this..." Xander assumed this was the twins mother talking.

"Mom... He's... You can't..." Christian was again talking. '

Wow. You really get no privacy in this area.' Xander thought to himself.

"Christian, get your siblings and go to your rooms. Now." The mother spoke again, in a gentler but still firm voice.

"No. Zach, C'mon. We're done, mom." Christian sounded fed up.

"Where are you going? If you walk out of this house, you're never coming back!" The man's voice spoke again.

"Fine." Christian opened the front door and noticed the two boys standing at the end of the walkway.

"No. Please, Bill, don't do this." Xander knew the mother was now crying. He could almost hear the tears falling.

"No mom. He's right this time. Until you get your act together and realize we should be your top priority, not that dicks, you call us and we'll come home. When he's gone." Xander had a feeling it was Zach talking now and not even three seconds later the twins were exiting the house heading straight for them.

"Crap." Brody whimpered and started backing away from the fence.

"Are you guys okay?" Xander found himself yelling out. The twins glared at him and continued their way up towards them.

"Why were you two stalking us?" Christian questions immediately. Brody looking away embarrassed.

"My real father lives in that house," Brody pointed across the street,"over there."

"We could hear the yelling from out here. It didn't sound too nice." Xander commented awkwardly. The twins turned fully to face him, and Xander fidgeted.

"What would you know about fighting? I'm sure you have an awesome family life at home." Zach sneered at Xander. Xander took a deep breath and fought the need to punch Zach in the face.

"You know nothing about my life." He gritted out through his teeth. Brody gently touched his arm and gave him a look that said chill. "My family is just as messed up as anyone else's. Just as much as yours. Maybe not as... aggressive but we still have our own issues."

Zach snorted and tried not to burst out laughing. He sneaked a peek at Christian who was opening his mouth.

"Listen, you know jack shit about my family and our life..." Christian sucked in a deep breath and looked at back at the house. "We have no friends, we have no money, I guess we have no family now, so why don't you save your pity for someone who wants it." Xander shook his head, he hasn't wanted to piss the twins off.
