Purgatorio Inverse'

These four walls are haunting

These shackles are rusting

Been here for long...

Never knew what I've done wrong

In these cells, countless stories been told

Nights have always been cold...

Sentences are not only words

But years of insult within these walls

Atoning every sin I have not known

I've yet to see my son grown

Many have sulked into the sea of madness

Filled with deadly ripples of sadness

Piety, respect and humanity

Enter those doors and take none

As the cages here have served

To contain those who abandoned their amity

Blinded by righteous vindication

Harrowing judgements of hate

For prison is a factory of madmen

And of gravestones to be soon made

Conviction, confinement or abuse even

Was justice given? I dare asks

Or was hate served as it was given?

Morals bent with these shanks

Men do wear masks of torment

But take on the path of the righteous

As power is earned in every judgement

Isolation is the key of the aristocrats of pious

Each hour spent, lives wasted

As isolation and death is the fate

Every prisoner awaits

Treated as if disease ridden men

Every man soldiers of their sinful ground

Prison is nothing but a reverse purgatory

What a glorious sight to behold!

Of dead people telling their own story
