003. Us First

"As walnut date loaves go-" Tony started and spit a walnut into Peter's trash can

"That wasn't bad" Carmen finished and turned to Peter's desk

"Oh, retro tech! Thrift store? Salvation Army?" Carmen asked Peter as he went to stand next to her

"Uh, the garbage actually" Peter told her as she snickered

"You're a dumpsters diver?" Tony asked as he realized how embarrassing that was

"Um, listen, I definitely didn't apply for your grant-" Peter started but Carmen put a finger over his lips

"Ah-ah! Us first" She told him and tapped his lips as he blushed deeply

Tony then showed him the clip of Spider-Man that he had shown Carmen yesterday

"That's you right?" Tony asked as Peter looked at the two

"Uh no- what do you-"

"Yeah. Look at you go" Tony said impressed

"Wow, nice catch! 3,000 pounds, 40 miles an hour. That's not easy" Carmen complimented Peter as placed a hand on his shoulder

Peter was a couple inches taller than her, she was shorter then the average female

"You've got mad skills"

"That's all on YouTube though, right? I mean- that's where you found that?" Peter asked as he started to pace around

"Because you know that's all fake, right? It's all done on the computer" Peter rambled as Carmen rolled her eyes and grabbed a stick from the room

"Yeah, yeah. You mean like those UFO's over Phoenix?" Tony asked as Carmen pushed up a part of the ceiling

"What have we here?"

A type of red and blue spandex dropped but Peter lunged to grab it before it hit the ground and threw it into the closet

"You're the spider-ling?" Tony asked

"Crime-fighting spider?" Carmen asked right after

"You're spider boy?"

"S-Spider-Man" Peter said with his arms crossed

"Not in that onesie you're not" Carmen muttered, already thinking about how she could upgrade his attire

"It's not a onesie" Peter muttered as Carmen raised her hands in surrender

"I don't believe this, I was actually having a good day today, Ms. Stark" Peter told Carmen as she sat on his bed, criss crossing her legs

"Didn't miss my train, this perfectly good DVD player was just sitting there, and algebra test, nailed it" Peter rambled on as Carmen gave him a sympathetic smile

"Who else knows? Anybody?" Tony asked, ignoring his rant

"No, nobody"

"Not even your unusually attractive aunt?" He asked as Carmen glared at him

"No, no, no! If she knew she would freak out, and when she freaks out, I freak out" Peter said as Carmen smiled at him

Carmen didn't know what she was getting herself into. Peter was cute, sweet, considering, and caring. His charms were definitely working on her

"You know what I think is really cool? This webbing" Carmen told him and tossed him the container and he caught it swiftly

"Who manufactured that?" Tony asked

"I did" Peter responded and threw the webbing into the closet as well

"Climbing walls, how do you do that?" Tony asked him as he messed around with his suit

"It's a long story, I was-"

"Lordy, can you even see in these?" Tony asked as he started to make noises while playing with it

"Yes, yes I can see in those!" Peter said embarrassed and grabbed the suit, placing it back into the closet

"Dad, can you-?" Carmen stressed while motioning towards the door

"Oh, I'll give you kids a minute, but I'm right outside, I can hear everything" Tony told the two as Carmen gave an uncomfortable thumbs up
