Rose woke up first again. She felt a bit sick, but now she knew why. She went into the kitchen and started making breakfast for Jack and herself. She had many thoughts going through her head now that she was pregnant. What would they do? How would they get more money? As happy as she was, Rose had many worries about everything too. As she finished up on breakfast Jack woke up and walked into the kitchen. "Good morning, darling." He said in a sweet voice. Rose smiled, "Good morning, Jack" She replied while walking over to the table and set down breakfast. It was around seven in the morning. "Jack, how are we going to be able to afford this baby? We haven't even fully furnished our house yet." Rose complained. "We'll figure it out, Rose. I've been saving my money, and you get paid weekly too." Jack assured her. She smirked and continued eating. "Besides, I'm going to look into another job today, maybe we can work similar hours, and then when we can come home I'll paint, and you can sew and we can sell those things too Rose" Jack suggested. Rose felt more confident hearing that and she nodded in agreement.

It was seven thirty now which meant Rose had an hour and thirty minutes until her shift began. Jack cleaned up the plates after they both finished and then walked into their bed room. He came back with a large brown bag with something inside that appeared to be heavy. "Close your eyes" he told Rose as he set it on top of the cleaned off table. "No peeking" He added. He began to take the object out of the bag. He put the bag on the floor and set the object on the table. "Don't open them until I say so." He said. "So, remember how I said we would be able to sew and paint after we got home from our jobs? I bet you thought about how you would do that without any equipment or thread, or fabric or anything. Well. You can open now, Rose!" He said, full of excitement. She opened her eyes to see a sewing machine in front of her, sitting on the table. "Oh my, Jack! This is amazing!" Rose said very happily. Rose loved to sew; she made some of her clothing before she lost it all on Titanic. She got up to hug and kiss Jack. "Thank you so much!" Rose said. Jack also brought out various amounts and colors of thread, and fabric with the other materials needed. "It didn't cost me anything, love." He said. "I ran into Fabrizio and Helga at Times Square and we were talking about you sewing, and Helga's grandmother gave her this machine but she doesn't sew, so she gave it to me for you." Jack said proudly.

"Jack, with all this extra work we're going to be able to afford our baby I think!" Rose said in excitement. "Yes, well why don't we plan it out?" Jack suggested. Rose and Jack stood up to observe each room and imagine what it will look like in the future. First they started in the living room. "We can have a little play area over there next to the couch, and across from that we can have two chairs, one for you and one for me and we can watch our baby play with the toys." Rose said. Her voice was full of excitement as she carefully and thoroughly thought out the blue prints in her mind. She grabbed Jacks hand and took him to the back of the apartment. Back here was two rooms; theirs, and a vacant one. She skipped there room because it did not need any remodeling other than a new, real bed. "Ooh!" she said while going into the vacant room. "This will be the baby's room. We can put the crib right over there and then later we can decorate it according to the gender. I can't wait!" Rose squealed. Jack smiled in admiration at his lover's emotions towards this. He was staring at her in a loving way. He looked away and up at the clock. It read eight thirty. "Love, it's eight thirty, we should get going." Jack told her. "Wow, time really passed, huh? I'm going to go get changed, put my shoes on and we can go." Rose changed into her uniform and shoes and took Jacks arm to walk out the house. "I'm going to paint again today. Maybe venture out a bit more and see how else I can make money for my family." Jack expressed. Every moment they got to talk about their new bundle of joy, they took. They were as happy as a couple could be. They both loved each other very much, and now they had a new addition coming to their family which filled them with so much joy they could not hide it. They were willing to work as much as possible to give everything to this baby.

After Rose got off of work, she decided to make a trip to Times Square. She hadn't been sure if Jack was still there but she took a chance to meet him. While she was walking, she began looking around to see if she could see him nearby. Finally, she saw him at a small table, filled with his supplies. In front of him was a line of people. It wasn't too many people, maybe around ten. As Jack had been distracted with drawing a portrait for a current paying customer, Rose snuck past him and got in the line as well. The wait was about thirty minutes, but Rose didn't mind because she wanted to surprise him. When Jack got down to the last person before Rose he looked up at a nearby clock and noticed that Rose had already been out of work. He still hadn't noticed her and began packing his stuff. Without looking up, he spoke, "I've got to go, I've got somewhere to be. I'll be back tomorrow." He said. "No time even for a paying customer?" Rose said as she did aboard Titanic when Jack sketched her naked. He knew that voice anywhere. He smiled and looked up at her. She smiled a playful smile back. "I'd like a self-portrait sir." She pretended to be clueless as to who he was. Jack laughed to himself and brought all his needed materials back out. "Okay miss." He began to sketch her and while doing so, he felt this soulful connection. He got this same feeling while sketching her naked. She also felt this connection too. In this moment of silence that the two share, they felt more in love.

When Jack finished, he and Rose made their way home to have dinner. When they got there, they made the same noodles with sauce dish. Jack seasoned it because he thought it may have been too bland. While they both sat down to eat, they thought it had been too quiet. "So, I bought something to make our house a bit livelier." Jack smiled. "I also have some pretty amazing news. Which do you want first, love?" He asked politely. "I'll take the item you bought first." She responded. "Okay." He lifts a huge bag and takes out a medium sized item. "I bought a medium sized radio so we can hear music, and news updates." He smiled. She smiled too, "That's amazing! I want to know the good news now!" Rose said. She was excited about the radio, but she was very eager to hear the good news. "Well, I got a job to help build cars in an assembly line. The pay is minimum wage, but I start tomorrow and I will save every penny I get." He said. "That's amazing love! I'm so happy for you! This is amazing news!" After they finished eating, they both cleaned up and made their way into the living room where they planned to read for a bit while listening to their new radio. They each had their own story in hand, and the man on the radio was talking about recent news. When the man began talking about the sinking of the Titanic, the couple was a bit sad, but right after that, their favorite song began playing. 'Come Josephine in my flying machine..." When they realized the song they both put their books down and began singing along, and eventually they began dancing too.

Day soon turned into night, and the couple spent most of their evening enjoying the radio, and enjoying their books. Soon they decided it was time for bed. Jack was excited to be start work tomorrow. He started at nine as well, but he did not leave until two. They both decided since they had pretty early shifts, that they would go to bed and get some rest. While lying in bed, Jack held Rose close to him. He began to sing, softly in her ear. A smile formed on her face as she soon drifted off into sleep. He watched her in admiration, moving the hair from her face and covering her up to make sure she never goes cold, and he soon too drifted off into sleep.
