gwen x trent [ gwent ] opinion;
when it's comes to gwen and trent's relationship, also known by their ship name "gwent, " i have mixed feelings. when i first started watching total drama, they were my favorite ship out of all of the characters. in season one, i thought their relationship was the sweetest thing in the world.
however, when season two rolled around and the writers decided to derail everyone's character, their relationship grew unhealthy. gwen was uncomfortable and anxious around him, trent was obsessive and jealous of her friends-it was just not a good scenario for either of them.
that awkward little scene of them in the third season when they were shoved into each other was really cute, in my opinion. i really hope that if they're both in another season together, they grow to become great friends again. i adore them both, and i hope we get to see more of them soon.
