Spencer Hastings closed her book.

She was alone in the Rosewood Day library, even the teachers had gone home.

Spencer walked down the abandoned hall.

As the girl passed the choir room she heard a familiar song.

Spencer was trying to place the voice singing the song.

At the end of the song she heard someone clap.

"That was brilliant" Ezra Fitz congratulated.

"Thanks Ez" Now Spencer could place the voice, Aria Montgomery, one of Spencer's best friends.

Spencer didn't want to hear the love fest that she knew was coming she quickly left the building.

"Aria you have to tell her" Ezra said.

"She has Toby, why would she want me?"

"Who wouldn't want you? Go it's Friday. Organise something with your friends"

When Aria got to her car she sat on the hood and sent out a group text

To: Spencer, Emily, Hanna
From: Aria
SMS: Want to come over to mine for the night?

It didn't take long for her to get responses.

From: Emily
SMS: Okay I'm in. Will bring food.

From: Hanna
SMS: Only if you make breakfast and Spencer is not allowed to make the coffee
RE: Breakfast comes with the package and Spence will be banned from the kitchen

From: Spencer
SMS: I'll be there and the kitchen is your domain

An hour later…

Aria was waiting for her friends who were taking forever.

Aria plugged her IPod into the big dock in the living room, turned the music up full blast and put the music on shuffle.

The first song that came on was Van Halen's 'Hot for Teacher'.

"Playing your national anthem, Aria" Hanna shouted over the music as the three guest came into the room.

"Very funny" Aria grumbled as she turned the music down.

The night was going smoothly until there was an interruption.

"Aria, I think I have an answer to the Spencer problem" Ezra yelled bursting into the Montgomery house.

"What 'Spencer problem'?" Spencer asked clearly hurt.

"I'm going to go talk to him" Aria mumbled.

"No Aria. What 'Spencer problem'?" Spencer demanded.

Aria grabbed Spencer's shirt and smashed their lips together.

Spencer just got over the shock when Aria was gone.

"Damn, you looked like you enjoyed that" Emily commented.

Spencer simply nodded and listened to the conversation downstairs.

"Aria why did you hit me?"

"Because she is upstairs moron" Aria shouted "It wasn't that big of a deal now it's huge"

"That's what she said, OW, STOP HITTING ME! Just tell her"

"No because I will lose an awesome friendship, I may already have"

"You haven't and you won't" Ezra insisted.

"He's right Aria, because what if I want this too?" Spencer asked.

"Do you?" Aria whispered.

Spencer was a little taken back by Aria's lack of confidence.

"I do want this 'cause your amazing, just the way you are.

The two grinned at each other before their lips met.

Ezra took this moment to pick up his jacket, softly call up to the two remaining girls and let himself out.

The kiss broke and Aria grabbed Spencer's hand and led her up the stairs to their friends.
