Newly Weds

DRACO

I was walking to the church with Hermione until we split up. I went to stand next to the priest and she went into the hallway with her father.

I grinned at Blaise, and he grinned back. Harry, Blaise, and Ron were sitting in the front with Ginny, Pansy (Who grew to be a nice, loving person) and Lavender.

I looked anxiously at the clock. 30 seconds till she walked in.

The choir behind me began playing an acoustic version of "Helena", Hermione's and I favorite song.

Hermione, looking beautiful, came walking through the door with her father holding her hand. Teddy Lupin came in shortly after, throwing flowers onto the floor.

When Hermione approached, my heart fluttered. I held my hand out and waited for her father's approval.

"Take care of her," he said worryingly, making me quite happy. "I will, Mr. Granger," I said, smiling.

"We gather here to unite these two, Draco Lucius Malfoy and Hermione Jean Granger. Do you pledge to share your love in between you two forever?" The priest said, smiling.

"We do" Hermione and I said at the same time. I looked into the crowd and said Mrs. Granger crying into her husband's shoulder and Ron hugging Lavender and smiling at me.

"Now is time for the vows. Mr. Malfoy?" He said, gesturing his hand to me.

"Hermione, I promise to spend each day working to become the truest version of myself, for you, for us, and for our family. You are my light, my inspiration, and I am blessed to be able to call you my ever loving wife. Come and be my wife. We'll build our home and chop our wood and make our garden grow... we'll do the best we know. I promise to live out our lives in love as best we can. That is all I can promise in truth. I love you." I said happily, holding her hands tight and smiling.

Tears fell from her eyes as she smiled back lovingly.

"Miss Granger?" The priest asked, smiling.

"Draco, You are my family, and I want to be there for you in all things, I am so excited to be your wife and share in every moment - not only the good times but the learning experiences too. I vow to take from every moment the opportunity to love, to nurture, and to grow - and to never forget how lucky I am. I love you utterly, completely and madly - I love the way you look at me - I love to gaze into your eyes. It is only natural that I should always be with you as your wife. I love you Draco." She said, letting more tears fall and causing me to cry too.

"Do you, Draco Malfoy, take Hermione Granger to be your wife?" The priest asked me.

"I do," I replied, grinning so hard my jaws hurt. "Do you, Hermione Granger, take Draco Malfoy to be your husband?" The priest asked Hermione.

"I do." She said, making me happy.

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride!" The priest said, closing his book and smiling.

I looked at Hermione and leaned into her. I pecked her lips and smiled, holding her hands. I put the ring on her finger and she put the ring on mine.

We both turned to the crowd, most of them crying, the others on the verge of tears.

"I LOVE YOU!" I yelled over the cheering.

"I love you more!!!!" She yelled back and pulling me into a kiss.

I am the happiest I have been. in fact, I have only been happy with her.
