Chapter 3 lights out

The core is low one more hit and we are down and we are still trying to figure out why Jake has passed out as we were about to give up when he wakes up we overload him with questions I can see he has a headache so I calm everyone down and get him some water"now what happened Jake who knocked you out" I asked"ahh...my head...it was...um well I just...felt ok then when I got to the engine um...that's all I remember" he said faintly "ok well that can't be it get some rest and try and think"I said to him "wait...um...I remember something a cheftain with a gravity hammer" he said with a cough"that's good you see that helps now get so-" before I could finish that was it the final shot the pelicans windows bursted it was like everything was on fire for 3 seconds I checked the computer but it exploded knocking me out I opened my eyes my arm bursting with pain I grip it tight and wince in pain my visor is cracked I reach to my magnum with my good arm I look around me all my friends are on the floor the pelican is torn in half with holes in the walls and a lot of fire I stand up and grab a Medi kit I heal my arm as much as I can it still hurts though and bleeding like hell so I put some bandages on it I walk to Swift and try to wake her up I splash water on her head she gasps and wakes up
"Any wounds" I asked wincing "never mind me what happened to you?!" She said condsernd "I'm fine now let's wake up the others and move into action" I say firmly
