TOO GOOD ; Phan

We return to my flat, flowers still tied beautifully into Dan's hair. I have to say, I did a good job of putting the flowers in his hair, but Dan did a better job at being extremely attractive. It saddens slightly that he'll go back to his flat soon; I don't want this to end.

"Sooooo," I say, dragging out the o's, I assume you'll be wanting to go back to yours soon-"

"NO. I mean- uh," He says suddenly, cutting off my sentence.

"No?"

"I mean, my flat is boring and lonely, and I- I just like being with you. I love you. I get if you don't want me around, though."

"Of course I want you around, you can stay. Living alone is lonely."

"I'm not moving in, but, like, I'll probably just stay here and annoy the crap out of you. Your flat is bigger than mine, anyway."

"I've never even seen yours."

"Well, if I'm going to be staying with you most of the time, which I plan to because you're the best human alive, then I need clothes, and they're in my flat."

"I guess we'll have to go and get some, then."

We bring plastic bags to his flat to carry the clothes back in, and we pull out some of the clothes he'll need, keeping about half of the stuff in the cupboard. He's not moving in, not that I don't want him to, but spending time with other people is better than being alone, and we both live alone, so it makes sense.

he selects a few flower crowns out of a box of them that he has, and then we fill the bags with what we've decided to take. He walks out of the room, I assume to go to the bathroom, which is understandable.

Ten minutes later, and we're back at my flat putting Dan's clothes into the empty spaces in my wardrobe. At least we'll never get out clothes mixed up, being that Dan's are the complete opposite of mine. He settles his flower crowns down on the left bedside table, as that's the side he slept on last night, which is fortunate; as I sleep on the right side.

He really is perfect for me.
