As we all know, Star Wars is renowned for its diverse species. From wookies to twi'leks or tiny green men (I'm looking at you, Yoda), it can be a little difficult to wrap your head around them all. So here is a simple guide to some of the fantastic species of the Star Wars universe.

appearance : tall humanoids with a pair of long tentacles protruding from their skull (lekku). their skin colour varies between blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red, white and more.
home world : ryloth, a harsh planet with jungles, mesas valleys and volcanoes in the outer rim other: twi'lek's are widely distributed across the core and mid-rim worlds, with females often sold as slaves.
extra : i haven't seen a lot of this but i wanna say it anyway. do not sexualise the twi'leks. that is the exact opposite of their plots in canon.
