FIFTEEN
"Okay, so don't freak out after what I tell you," Morgan started once she sat at our lunch table.
I held my sandwich in mid-air, suddenly feeling worried. "Uh oh, this can't be good."
"Well, it's just..."
"Spit it out, Morgan!" I rushed.
"Okay! Uh, well, the school seems to know about your...goal," she said, watching intently for my reaction.
I didn't say anything at first, until I shrugged. "So? It'll probably be easier to get dates now, right?" I replied.
"The thing is, the rumor that's going on isn't entirely true," Morgan continued slowly.
"Well what is the rumor then?" I asked, taking a drink from my water bottle.
"Apparently you're on a quest to find the best guy-" she paused, "-in bed."
"WHAT?!" I exclaimed, getting looks from everyone else in the lunchroom. I ignored them, lowering my voice to only speak with Andie and Morgan. "You're telling me that the entire school thinks I'm a slut?"
Andie patted my arm sympathetically. "Don't worry, Lexy, I'm sure it'll go away soon. All rumors do eventually."
I took a moment to look around me, taking the time to finally notice the girls whispering about me and the guys giving me sleazy looks. I groaned, resting my head on my arms. "This can't be happening."
"Oh, I got it!" Morgan chimed. "Alright, this is what we have to do..."

After a long, tiring day of school, I was seriously considering moving to Minnesota to go to school there. Perhaps my mom was doing me a favor by allowing me to start all over at a new school. I mean, clearly after going to school here for only a week seemed to already cause problems, mainly the major problem of the horrible rumor that was about me.
However, after another week of trusting Morgan to fix the situation, her 'brilliant plan' didn't seem to change much. The entire school still looked at me like I was a slut in search of a bed mate rather than a soul mate.
As Morgan and I were watching a clichéd romance movie, which she begged me to watch with her, Tristan and Logan decided to join us.
"Don't you have a party to go to?" I asked, assuming they were heading out since it was Friday.
"Yeah, we're about to head out now," Logan answered. I raised my eyebrows at him in question, seeing as how he looked quite relaxed if he was going to leave then. "So you ended your whole goal?" he asked me.
"What?" I replied.
"Rumor is that you've entirely ended your plan to get guys," he said.
My eyes widened with joy as I stood up. "Really?" He nodded, looking very confused. I dragged Morgan off the couch as we jumped up and down in excitement. "Yes the plan worked! I'm not a slut anymore!"
"What are you talking about?" Tristan asked, amused with our cheering.
"There was a rumor that I slept around with guys to try to find the best...bed mate...so Morgan came up with the idea to tell everyone it was completely off! Now I can go on normal dates again!"
"So you are still continuing with your original plan," he stated, not looking as amused anymore.
"Of course!" I replied, grinning happily. "That reminds me, where'd you put Cameron's number?" I asked Morgan. She turned to look through her bag that was on the floor, while Tristan abruptly stood from the couch.
