Jump into the sun,

Dear boy what are you running from?

Everyone has got to be saved ~

I have heard a voice,

If it came down to make a choice,

I would be the one to play ~

Tiiiime ~ Keeps rolling on,

(I need my)

Tiiiime ~ Keeps rolling on,

(I need my absolution)

Run boy, be a man,

With legs too weak to make a stand,

We're all crucified in the end ~

Can you hear a voice,

To separate through all this noise?

You'll be left with nothing again ~

Tiiiime ~ Keeps rolling on,

(I need my)

Tiiiime ~ Keeps rolling on,

(I need my absolution)

Jump into the sun,

Dear boy what are you running from?

The answer you won't find in your grave ~

Roko paused the track, putting his iPod back in his pocket. The team would arrive at the courts in about twenty minutes, which gave Roko plenty of time to do whatever he wanted, and he'd already eaten a cake on his way here. To his surprise, Ryoma had left before he'd even woke up, probably practicing for his next match, but Roko didn't really care.

Although, the whispers and looks in his direction from the people around him were very entertaining.

"That's Rikkaidai Fuzoku, isn't it?"

"Who's that? I've never seen him before"

"Idiot! That's the Speed Demon of Rikkaidai, their secret weapon!"

"I heard they're saving him for the Regional finals"

"He must be amazing"

Roko mentally snorted. The only reason he hadn't played in the quarter finals, and the reason he wasn't playing in the semi-finals, was because he'd fallen asleep, and then Sanada had decided to let Kirihara loose. It had nothing to do with saving him, where did people even get these ideas from?

"But he's a freshman"

Roko's ears pricked at that.

"I know, and he's really quiet too"

"I heard he can't talk"

"Seriously? How can you play tennis then?"

"You don't need to talk to play tennis, idiot"

"But still..."

Roko turned around, glancing at the group standing behind him from the bench, and they immediately jumped and scuttled away like mice, and Roko smiled amusedly. The Rikkaidai jersey had a surprising amount of power over people.

Sometimes there were perks of being in Rikkaidai, if you subtracted tutoring Sanada and Kirihara, putting up with Yanagi's random spouting of data and deathly energy drinks, and everything in between. Still, he could have gone to Seigaku.
