Chapter 28

"Gerard, get up. We gotta go" Mikey said, pulling me off the couch. I stood up, seen as though my little friend had gone by now.

"Aww! I don't want you to go" Lindsey said standing up and pouting, I chuckled as she pulled me in for a hug "Here, give me your phone, i'll put my number in" She smiled

I handed her my phone and turned to see Bert standing up

"You should come again, you're really cool" He laughed and sent me a friendly smile

"Yeah ditto" I said awkwardly smiling.

I turned back around and Lindsey handed me my phone "There, now you have to be my friend" She laughed as she pulled me in for a hug.

"I would be your friend anyway Linds" I said wrapping my arms around here waist losely

"Well, say hi to Frank for me..." She whispered into my ear as she pulled away and winked at me with a grin stuck on her face

"Y-you...Fuck" I sighed in defeat. I shouldn't trust that sneaky bugger, but what did i expect, she would have cracked me anyway.

"Text me" She said as she walked away. I heard a chuckle from Bert as i turned around

"She's sneaky" He laughed

"Yeah" i smiled

"I'll see you another time then"

"Yeah, i'll come next time i'm free" I smiled. Free? When am i not free? I do fuck all unless i'm at school.

"Bye Gerard" He said pulling me in for a hug as well which suprised me a lot. I hugged him back and we pulled away quickly.

"Bye" I walked out the garage behind my brother and down the street.

"You and Lindsey get along well" Mikey smiled at me

"Yeah, she's cool. Sneaky as fuck though" I laughed as i looked at my phone.

She named herself 'Sexy Lyn-z' on my contacts. which of course made me laugh.

"What's so funny?" Mikey asked curiously

"Sexy Lyn-z" I read "That's what she calls herself on my phone"

"Yeah, she must like you then" He chuckled.

We got home and opened the door to a warm, lit and tasty smelling house.

"Hey mom" Mikey called after taking off his shoes

"Hello Boys!" She said walking out the kitchen to greet us

"Smells nice, where's Frankie?" I asked eager to tell him everything from tonights events.

"He's upstairs, missing him that much?" She said winking at me

"Actually yeah" I smiled a genuine smile.

"Oh" I must have shocked her with that response because she was only joking "That's nice" She smiled.

"Yeah" I said before running upstairs.

I walked into my bedroom to find i small bundle under the covers with the television on and the volume low.

I approached the bundle quietly and sat down on the bed as I untied my shoes and slipping them of my feet as careful as I could.

I then got up and walked over to the t.v and turned it off.

"Im not alseep" the bundle said from under the covers.

I didn't reply but I quietly walked over to the bed again without making a noise, and waited.
