Timeline: KO and Hao Mei are already in a relationship ♡

~~~~~
Hao Mei had never seen KO wore a scarf around his neck. Actually, this was a normal thing, because a lot of men didn't like wrapping tight stuff around their necks, even if the winter this year came much earlier and was especially colder compared to the previous winters.
When the temperature reached below zero degree Celsius, Hao Mei would wrap a scarf around his neck. That scarf he wore was bought together by Bei Wei Wei for all of the staffs in the company. Since the majority of the males in the office were hardcore gamers and computer addicts, most were bachelors who had minimal idea of the right ways to take care of themselves properly. After one of the cold attacks, which infected half of the employees, Bei Wei Wei finally took action and collectively bought everyone a set of warming equipment, such as scarves, gloves, hats and the likes.
Of course, the central heating in the office would be turned on during working hours. Therefore, these gears were to be worn when these employees were on the road.
As a person who had a girlfriend to care of his wellbeing, indeed Xiao Nai was the first person to wear these things. And because he wore it, one by one, the personnel in the company also followed him and wore them.
On his way to work every day, Hao Mei would wear a scarf; sometimes he'd also add a pair of gloves. However, seeing him wearing a hat was a rare occurrence since it would mess up his hairstyle. Every day before they went out, he would always ask KO whether his style today is handsome or not, does it affect his image, and other questions of the same nature. Meanwhile, KO would only observe at him for a while before responding, "Ng, you look good."
Basically, most of KO's replies were more or less the same. Hao Mei also didn't probe into it seriously whether it was merely a reply to appease him or something else. At any rate, when he heard the satisfying answer, he was already happy.
Except that one time he requested KO to wear a scarf.
As soon as Hao Mei finished speaking, KO promptly refused. At that time, KO's reasoning was: "I'm not cold."
It'll be a miracle if it's not cold. Hao Mei thought to himself, if it's not cold, then why are your hands freezing every time I hold them? If it's not cold, then why did you drink directly hot water as soon as we arrived at the office? If it's not cold, then why do you always hug me whenever we pass the park at night?
Thus, Hao Mei concluded that KO most likely did it on purpose.
They were currently riding the subway train home. Taking account of Beijing's awful traffic condition, driving a car would only bring trouble to themselves. During the summer, they would walk home together, taking a stroll while dating since their apartment was not too far away from the office. On the other hand, walking in the winter was a huge no because it was simply too cold. Therefore, taking the subway was a better option. Despite the fact that squeezing and jostling around with a crowd of people was not very comfortable, at least it was warmer than walking on the streets.
