The snow fell heavily all of a sudden.

KO was still at the office, immersing himself with work. He did not pay any attention to other things. In just a twinkling of the eye, snow had whirled in fluttering waves outside the window as the entire town was blanketed in white.

The atmosphere inside the office was peaceful. The several boisterous employees who loved to banter and joke around had already gone to a certain company to discuss about the cooperation of their new project, including Hao Mei.

KO glimpsed at the bottom right corner of his computer screen and noticed that it was almost lunchtime.

Both of his deft hands quickly typed at the keyboard before he unplugged a USB connected to the computer. He conveniently took his scarf and headed outside.

"Senior KO, where are you going?" The newly arrived female employee at the receptionist desk asked him, then she reminded him, "Since it's snowing quite hard outside, I've just planned to order take out for everyone."

"No need, I'm going out." KO responded. When he caught sight of the umbrella on the ground beside her, he added, "Are you using the umbrella?"

"Nope, I'm not using it." The young female answered hastily, "You can take it. I'm not going anywhere in the afternoon. It's just that... after work in the evening... you should..."

"I'll return it in the afternoon." KO's reply dispelled her apprehensions. With the girl's permission, he grabbed the umbrella and went downstairs.

The young female merely watched him with longing eyes as he walked away. She patted her cheeks for a few times, talking to herself, "This handsome guy, why does he have to be so cold..."

It was freezing outside. Hao Mei was walking on the pavement while blowing a puff of air. He felt truly out of luck. Although their discussion this time went without a hitch, but the other company had requested to see some of their data and materials. This material was only shared between the personnel of programming department. As a result, they couldn't send someone from their company to deliver the data since it was confidential. Originally, Xiao Nai had planned to call KO and told him to bring it here, yet Hao Mei didn't consent to it.

"It's snowing so hard outside. Besides, it's not convenient to drive a car out. He will probably refuse taking a taxi. So, he will definitely walk here." Hao Mei muttered to himself. Usually, he would not haggle so much. This place was not far away from their company and the distance would be around two kilometers. In normal days, it would only take ten minutes to walk here. However, it was snowing heavily. Not to mention the cold, the road was also slippery.

"Hey, why are you so upset? If not then, why don't you take it by yourself?" Yu Ban Shan grinned as he looked at his watch, "Besides, the next meeting will start at 2 o'clock. You can still grab some lunch. I heard that the restaurants here are not as good as the ones below our company."
