Caitlin Prickott

"Miss Lacy, I was wondering if you knew of a sport where you can openly punch people." She glances at me as if I were insane.

"Well yes, dear. It's a muggle sport called boxing. Kickboxing is where you kick and punch. Why do you ask?" I shrug.

"I've punched quite a few people lately and I just wanted to know if I could get more of a workout out of it." She nods.

"Well of course. You know, we could actually let you train on the large slabs of dragon meat that we need softened before we prepare and serve it. Would you like me to make you some gear for boxing?" I nod before realizing what I am getting myself into.

"Thank you very much. I'll be by later to help with the dragon meat. Goodbye, Miss Lacy!" She waves subtly and I walk in happiness to the great hall.

"Hey, Caitlin. I don't see you much anymore." Brenna smiles as I sit down next to her.

"I've been going to the library a lot lately." She smirks and picks at her food with her fork.

"And you snog Percy Weasley." My face becomes red and my hair slowly morphs into an embarrassed pink.

"I do not!" She shakes her head and points at my hair.

"That's your embarrassed color." I morph it back into the deep blue it was before.

"Hush! I don't fancy Percy Weasley, I don't have any feelings at all for him, and I most certainly do not snog him!" A faint laugh behind me grabs my attention.

Oliver Bloody Wood.

"Shut up before I punch you next, Wood!" He stuffs a cream puff into his mouth and turns back around.

"You're talking a bit loudly, Caitlin-"

"Well that's because you're frustrating me!" Before she can finish, I storm out of the great hall as fastest as I can to the stair case.

"Oomph!" My body turns as another hits me and I try to see who it is.

"Sorry, love!" As soon as Percy sees me, he becomes redder than I just became.

"I...I-" I hold a finger to his lips before he can talk.

"It's alright, but there's no need to call me love, Perce." I wink at him playfully and trudge back to my common room.

"Sour mood." Tonks glances at me as I plop down onto her bed.

"I am not in a sour mood! I'm just frustrated because people can't mind their business, people can't control themselves, people can't read physical cues or behavior, and most of all, people are dumb!" She throws some of her extra clothes into her trunk and grunts.

"Boys." We day in unison. She looks at me in confusion.

"Is this about Percy?" I shake my head.

"No, it isn't about Percy- OF COURSE THIS IS ABOUT PERCY! ALL OF MY FRIENDS CLAIM THAT I FANCY HIM AND THAT WE'RE SNOGGING AND IT'S ANNOYING! PERCY AND I ARE JUST GREAT FRIENDS! IT SEEMS LIKE NO BLOODY PERSON CAN GET THAT THROUGH THEIR THICK SKULL!" Tonks looks taken aback and a strand of my hair falls into my face.

It's now bright red. Her face shows her emotion greatly of fear and sorrow.

"Tonks, I-" She shakes her head and engulfs me in a hug.
