cats and dogs
while thunder
and lighting
shook the skies
making me
want to
explode with
j o y
but i didn't
there is something
very pleasing
about rain
yes
but i was
drenched
and was waiting
for it to stop
so i can go
home and
spend my weekend
with my books
when a car
stopped in front
of me
where i was
standing under the shelter
and the window rolled down
to reveal you
need a ride?
you winked
and i think i just
exploded with
